I see, thanks!I suggested the 1000-1999 range as the current engine spec is for the freight version. If someone wants to reskin into the passenger version (red I believe) then we can create a new engine spec for it and it would have a new config.txt that defined the new number range. The numbers are set up in the config so there shouldn't need to be any mesh changes unless the numbers are in a different place on the loco.
Cheers

In fact, it looks like this,http://www.4shared.com/file/39977158/307b6364/DF4B_Horn.html DF4B horn recorded in central China.
Orange and green reskins are currently inprogress. E.T.A 24 hours.
I reviewed some videos I made of DF4B and the headlight looks pretty much like any other headlight on the locos that passed, with not much difference between the two lower lights and the colour of the upper light.
I am not sure, sorry. I haven't seen these lights are turned on before, maybe they are overhauling lights like the lights above the bogeys. I will check it with my Chinese trains expert and tell you later.A question. What are the small white marker lights on the side of the cab above the number and when are they used?
Cheers
Dave
If you use the 1000-1999 range, please rub away the Chinese writing on the both sides, because the 1000-1999 range maybe doesn't belong to that sect.I suggested the 1000-1999 range as the current engine spec is for the freight version. I have asked my Chinese friend, he is an expert and told me that the small white marker lights on the side of the cab above the number are used to show people how wide the loco is during the night.A question. What are the small white marker lights on the side of the cab above the number and when are they used?

Great stuff here guys!
Two questions:
1st: Was the DF4B built at the Datong Locomotive works? I know that there's a major factory there, but I'm not sure if that was strictly the Steam era and early diesel...
2nd: Where can I get those white, blue, and red passenger cars in the picture above?
The creator of QJ has not released the tender, so we have to wait, sorry!![]()
If I meet him in the MSN, I will remind him again. :wave:Thats ok.I can wait for this.

http://www.4shared.com/file/40217478/7e5c8aa4/QianJin.html without the tenderCan you just get him to send me the loco until he gets the tender?I will use some other tender for now,
Thank you, Dave. They look almost real and pretty good. May you released the current version now, so we can test it further, thanks. The other thing is the creator unfortunately had made a silly mistake, the brand should be set on the both sides, may you help us to fix it? sorry.DF4B update. Now has transparent windows, directional lighting and a few other bits and pieces. Using booleans to knock out the windows has caused a few problems with the texture mapping that are likely to take a lot of time to fix. Not sure when I'll get that sorted. I'm also struggling to smooth out the curved shape around the front as the mesh has some in built problems in that area.
