A plea to Spiffy for a forum change.

Well its all rather intresting, it also dare I say, opened a real can of worms as this fourm is operated by a company and under the Australian Communcation ACT they should have some control and have responablity over what happends here.

More mods are need now, its already been stated by Auran that there eyes were busy on other things and the fourm was not high on the fix list.

Doesn't matter how busy Auran are, the posters may be responisble for what they write, however Auran IS responsible for what IS seen.

Didn't I think about it, Angelah has now left, so I was right, I was right about the rest to, I am reaching the end of my patience with some of the inane remarks made in serious threads by people who are known to be idiots.

That's an interesting legal question because the server, I believe, is in the USA. Anyway, if a forum provider was legally responsible for the conduct of the forum members I am afraid we would not have a forum at all. Trying to control forum members is like herding cats.:hehe:

I have now moved the forums to our backup box temporarily, in order to get the email notifications working while I fix the live box, this should assist the moderators greatly in responding to reported posts quickly.

Not sure if others have had an "email notification" but I have had one :clap: :clap: :Y: , the time on the notification is 2pm Aussie Daylight saving time.

So hopefully Spiffy this problem is fixed, many thanks.
