Merry Christmas Tanker.MERRY CHRISTMAS LADS AND LASSES!!
Been tweaking Neville's D&D Route for winter settings in TRS22. Haven't gotten the foliage to cooperate yet but please enjoy this return to Tristan in Winter!
Ah thank you Annie. I have very fond memories of this Hall back when I first entered the community around 2015-2016 when everyone in the TCWW took me in and under their wings. So many hours running it on the Truro-Penzance Route....The only other Hall made for Trainz was also a private project. Chrisaw's Modified Hall 6991 'Acton Burnell Hall' is seen here on my WR mid-1950s layout 'Ashington'.
I for one would be very pleased should Tanker's good friend decide to release his lovely Hall sometime soon.
Long time no see. Haven't been playing Trainz at all, but the railway bug has bitten this month and I decided to fire up TRS22 for the first time in a while. Decided to restart on a new database so that I don't have any random junk installed, but nothing's been lost.
Anyway...Cheltenham on the Swanage Railway. Saw this very locomotive this past summer, when I was in the UK for a few days, beautiful machine even when it's not running. Maybe I'm becoming a Southern man over the LMS...!
Still not good with getting pictures on the new forum infrastructure, so sorry about that. Anyway, hope you enjoy, and happy holidays!
Imgur has been a buggy mess lately with it even being difficult to log in at times so I've had to find an alternative until it sorts itself out.Still not good with getting pictures on the new forum infrastructure, so sorry about that. Anyway, hope you enjoy, and happy holidays!
Yes Chrisaw's Hall might be an old model now, but it does look the part and it runs well. In fact that's the major problem with nearly all of the GWR 4-6-0's still available for Trainz, - they are old models sometimes dating from back in TS2006 days. Most of my own collection has been fettled as much as possible to run well and look a little better in TRS19 and TRS22, but there's no getting past the fact that we really need someone (hint hint Barney) to set up a virtual Swindon and build some band new 4-6-0's.Ah thank you Annie. I can't reveal too much but given how much Barney loves the GWR there is a very high possibility of a pretty large GWR Related Project coming down the pipeline - and the Hall will most definitely be involved in it. I have no idea when it will be done or if it'll even make it during the era of TRS22, but I am certain that when it is you all will enjoy it immensely.
GWR and NSR are my two fav railways so more GWR content is certainly a must from me!Yes Chrisaw's Hall might be an old model now, but it does look the part and it runs well. Whatever Barney makes though I know it will be pretty darn good in every way..
Gosh 2015-2016, - was it really that long ago. All the very best to you and your family for 2025 Tanker.
Some time ago Chris made his collection of locomotive models for Trainz available to TCWW members. There wasn't only the Hall, there were other GWR classes as well as a number of Southern Railway locomotives.Where is Chrisaw's hall available?
Thanks John

I think I have what amounts to the whole collection archived away and by the look of it Ken has them too.
