HELP! TS2009 SP1 failure

i got this error when trying to install SP1 on my TS2009, which i just re-installed after 12 months off the computer ater a re-build.

This patch file is not applicable to your current installation version.
(Build hash: 0fa7afa5ba80f8f6b13df2b6547e3ce2)

No valid patch operation was specified. Patching aborted.

i have no idea what it means as i only just re-installed the game so it should work right?

also how do i find out what version i have, as i was reading another thread about different versions and i may have to add SP@ but there are 3 different SP2's too choose from?

Start TS2009 and look at the bottom right hand side. Build number should be there. Once you know your build number, go here to download the right patch/service pack for your current build number; http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=53076

Download and install. Might take a few hours for service pack to install. Don't interupt.

Once you have install that service pack, download and install the latest, (SP4); http://download.ts2009.com/patch/41844_to_44653.exe

and yes i will update it too the SP4
