Well after the barn was lost to railroad planning (we are turning it into a party house) I got moved and.....

This is the result

I'll have HO scale on the top deck, ON30 on the lower deck, Lionel O scale (I'm thinking about that new legacy controller....) and N scale share the floor around the pool table, and lego will share with rokenbok ontop of the pool table.

My N-Scale work in progress. The layout has been updated a-lot since this picture was taken.

My newest locomotive

GWR Large Prairie tank number 4141, the model was constructed in 1975 by Airfix and so there is 32 years difference between it and my lateset bachmann 2-6-4T (seen with a single Traveling Post Office coach in the background) despite this it is just as relible and smooth. Purchased for £19 from the Stanier Mogul Fund at the Severn Valley Railway.

Mike E N-Scale is the way to go if you dont have a lot of room and the buildings all the way down the the figures are still very detailed!:D :D :D
I used to have one but its been packed away due to now basement or spare room:( :'(

Hi all, nice read and great photos!

A 4x8 HO scale I started a couple weeks ago. This is in my computer room, so space is limited.

Had many layouts over the years but moved allot, you know how that goes!

Cmon guyz, let's get this thread back on track! Here's my list of train stuff I got for Christmas:

Proto 2000 GP38-2
Athearn RTR GP38-2
Athearn Genesis 50 Boxcar

That's all the stuff that "Rolls on the Track" I am building a diorama at the moment, making sure I have all my tenequies down so I don't mess up my layout, at the moment it needs paint, ballast, turf, and a backdrop. I will get pictures up once I get done with it.

Decided to go standard gauge...so instead of purchasing a singular large G scale steamer, went N scale...

2x4 foot board at the moment for practice and learning, with a larger shelf layout planned:

Minimum radius of 9 3/4" or so(in the tunnel), average radius is more like 12". Managed to get flex to actually work even with rail joiners instead of soldering--I consider that to be a major achievement!

Bachmann 4-4-0, Athearn Big Boy, Kato S-2 Northern:

I'm having some enormous fun with this; more than with Trainz even. Fantastic!

Recently added some new stock to my model railway.
Built a 'WTF' wagon (custom ZecRail wagon), to be numbered 1517 when painted, from spare parts... ZR now has a container wagon :)

Also added a new guards van, that being a TrainOrama ZLP guards van.

And just because I can, a photo of T377 in CFCLA livery shunting the yard at Tecoma...

Ol Times

Lookin at these pictures makes me homesick for the layouts I worked on in the past. I miss doing the real thing! Did "N" gage, but always thought about "Z". Here in Romania, it is very limited to availability of anything- parts, space, or money! Maybe some day I can do again...
