Dear friend, this render-shots are amazing. If I could, I would force, or at least pay you, to teach me, how to do it. Many years ago, I started some projects, but all aren't finished, because, my main problem is, how I can change the high poly object into a lower poly object and how can I create such realistic textures.

The textures are built in features in the later editions of 3DS max. How to transfer them to the game's TGA flat textures is a bit of a labor. But the render to texture feature is a good start. I am still learning myself.
As far as polys go, I never let that stop me and I will not do so now. I will say this though, thinking LOD and blind polys from start will save a lot of work, but paradoxically if you want to use normal mapping, you need to make a super hi-poly mesh nevertheless.

Queensland Railways - 25KV 'Standard' Type B Catenary

Designed as part of my custom content for my QR City Train - North Coast project with QHRTrainz. Big thanks to glt0145, for all these years go for making the Type A Catenary for the project.

Been over a year since I last posted work on these cars, as they've been modified a number of times through the decades getting the correct research on them has been slow.
