Difference between JR GP9 locomotives

Hi guys,

i want to get a gp9 from jr but i am kinda confused. The descriptions and feature pictures of the different versions are quite different between versions / skins. As an example, the chessie pack aswell as the southern pacific one list start/stop engine as a feature, all other versions dont. Some dont have a compatibility warning, some do (TANE only). Also the prices are different. So my question is, do they all have the same features (especially asking about engine start/stop) and do those features work fine in TRS19?

Thanks for your help :)

From what I have noticed with JR is that locomotives of the same model tend to vary, the features that they list are the features you get, the more expensive the more features and honestly the more expensive locos are worth it. Hope this helps!

The T:ANE compatible locomotives work fine in TRS19. They look quite nice too in that version.

as Mkultra04 says the ones with more features are move expensive and it's worth it. In the end buy the ones you like, pain schemes, etc., they're all well made models to begin with.

As I understand it, all the GP9/7s have the same feature sets. The ones that cost more usually contain extras, such as more models and possibly some rolling stock.
