I would be reluctant to buy TRS2012 so soon after TRS2010. It's a major deal for me to spend $49.00 on a game (justifying it with the boss...I mean wife). Plus the fact that I use TRS2009 more often than TRS2010. If TRS2012 is only backwards compatible with TRS2010 then that would be a big hurdle for me to clear.
TRS2006 in the tin can was a big deal...very slick and visually appealing from a marketing stand point. But I think the best part of that edition of Trainz was the comprehensive printed manual that I still reference occasionally to this day.
I usually wait for all of you guys to buy a new edition hot off the press and then read the reviews. By the time I finally break-down and buy it Auran is advertising the next addition.
Works for me. But I'm use to living behind the curve.
