Hello Everyone,

We have TLR Phase 3 ready for testing, and this one contains a lot of features. The Living Railroad Phase 3 main feature is Passenger Support, which introduces Passenger Lines List allowing creation of Passenger Lines to be assigned to the Dispatch Manager. Passenger Lines are auto generated and each are given an individual ratings so its easier to review which ones are more ideal. Lines can then be edited before being assigned to the Dispatch Manager or player. The Passenger List Lines can be accessed via Dispatch Manager or via a stations Detailed Window under Living Railroad section.

In addition to Passenger Support, there has been several Advanced Dispatch Settings added as well as Automatic Runaround Support.

Several S20 features have also been included. S20 Bulk Replace now has options to the area where it applies. An option to inspect baseboards has been added which will help identify what textures are used on a baseboard, list the number of texture slots free and show KUID and Percentage usage of each texture on the baseboard.

Lastly, the Imposter system is currently active for all compatible scenery assets and is not limited to foliage.

Please also note, this build lacks precache shaders, and the first run compiling shaders may take significantly longer than previous builds (possibly 2-3 times). Please allow plenty of time for the first run while shaders are compiled. This is a new build version, so be sure to have a backup of your local data folder.

How to Use Passenger Line with Dispatch Manager:
  1. Drive a session of a route which includes connected stations
  2. Identify a station you wish to create a passenger line for
    1. Open Dispatch Manager
    2. Enable Dispatch Manager
    3. Locate the station under the dispatch listing (a filter option for just Passenger Stations can be set)
    4. Click on the Status for your station
    5. Select "Show Passenger Lines"
  3. Passenger Lines should be auto generated, however there is an option to "Generate Lines..." which can be accessed by right clicking on the window
  4. Right click the Passenger Line to access the Edit Line to make any adjustments should you wish
  5. Any unwanted Passenger Lines can be disabled via "Disable Line"
  6. Assign a passenger's train to Dispatch Manager
  7. Wait for Dispatch Manager to assign the Line to the driver

Known Issues:
  • This build lacks precache shaders. Stuttering and small freezes during first loads of routes is to be expected as well as longer initial load times. 'Compiling Shaders' can be seen top of the screen during initial runs and slow performance is to be expected during this process. This process is slower in this build and may take longer than expected
  • Assertion Errors are enabled for this build. Trainz will pause until Assertion Errors are closed. Users can select Continue and Ignore Errors. (Reporting when these occur with bugs will help with troubleshooting)
  • MPS is not supported for this build
  • Large change in transparency for foliage assets changing from 3D to Imposters
  • Building Imposters can appear with a mesh like texture
  • Some rotation of Imposters may appear slow
  • Undo of a Junction creation causing offset of other trackside assets
  • Saving sessions will occasionally be marked as faulty
  • Several issues with the Filter and Asset Palette including Filter Palette drop down menu opening automatically and Asset Search field clearing when changing Filter Palette's filter
  • Freshly installed PF assets will be rendered incorrect orientation (PF assets installed before the update, will render correct side up)
