UK Screenshots for Pre BR Blue. High resolution warning.

Brilliant fog and night time screenshots Ken.

Thank you Annie, your Norfolk layout has an Irish touch methinks. A nice little loco.

No.3 is assembled from bits that aren't supposed to fit together, but originally it was a Ramsbottom 'Knotty' NSR class B. A very useful engine for shunting and trip working.

Most of my Norfolk layout is rural so the environmental lighting gets a slight green cast to knock out TRS22's harsh glare.

Thank you everyone for the kind complements.
Your right about TRS22's glare Annie, so hard to work screenshot wise, TANE was a better medium.

Very striking images Ken. The B1 is one of my favourite classes and one of Camscott's nicest models. It just shows sunlight isn't everything.....

Hello Neville, I've put the B1 through the "env_metal mill" to up grade it to TRS20+, still the odd problem , but will have to live with that.
Have a go at the GCR A8 tank loco next.

Cheers, Ken

South London 1951 - A BR Class 416 EPB Set departs from Crystal Palace High Street for London Bridge Station. The station is in it's final years and with a pickup of only 10 passengers, the station is without a doubt in it's final years.

Much Appreciated Ken! Taking a shot at London Bridge next! The J11 and A5 look splendid with the new metal texture applied!

I've been looking at your two screenshots and trying to figure them out Tanker. But then the images and maps I'm familiar with are for the late 1890s early 1900s so perhaps it's not so surprising.

#6126, #6130. Amazing light and dark lighting effects on your latest screenshots Ken. The Great Central lives again.

Been a while since I've been here, but there's been some great shots here!

Fired up TRS22 and made a bit more progress on my Midlands route...apologies if it looks bare, I've never really made a route on a computer...

It definitely doesn't look like it used too, that's for sure Annie! By 1950's the station was in a state of extreme disrepair. Cracks in the walls, decay in the wooden platforms, and extreme weed growth everywhere but the station itself. Although I may have gone a bit overboard with the grass and weeds though :hehe:

I like these station assets but I might have to commission a model of Crystal Palace High Street from Paul after all.

The amount of weed growth you had looks about right now that I've seen the Transport Library photos Tanker. It seems unbelievable that BR was operating the station with it in such a ruinous state, but then that was typical of BR back then. I think the station assets themselves are fine, - it's the lack of the building with its two towers on the end of the pair of canopy roofs that's the problem.

More amazing screenshots Ken. Definitely a visual treat to soothe sore eyes.

The vast glass edifice that the station was built to serve had burnt down in 1936, the vast debt accumulated during the second world war was still dominating the public finance and BR was looking to modernise and cut non-profitable branches.

And the car was on the rise.

Damn sir, - you've gone and fogged up my rosy tint spectacles.
