UK Screenshots for Pre BR Blue. High resolution warning.

Johnson 1377 Class No. 1741 take the engineers train north of Ashby up the Melbourne Branch after passing Holy Well Flour Mill.
And hopefully soon to be uploaded to the DLS once I've finished frowning at it some more.
Excellent screenshots there George.

Today's task for @KotangaGirl 's lovely repaint of the 1F was to take a 500T loco coal train from Rawdon Colliery the short trip up the line to Coalville, where it would later be taken to Derby. The performance of this little loco is rather impressive providing it's driven with care and plenty of blower before moving off.
When I was sorting out the Midland 1377 Class 1F's before uploading to the DLS I tested them by running them about on the steeper bits of the S&C so I made them to do a job of work when running on the steam control set.
In discussions with a member of the Midland Railway Research Group I was informed that the Johnston 1377's weren't no wimps so I took that very much to heart.

Fiddling around with a small project in between SR Sections. Decided to give Angelah's glorious Hayling Island Branch route a PBR Scenery Facelift:

Gosh, - Hayling Island. That takes me back to when I first purchased a brand new copy of TS2009 World Builder Edition. You've done a great job with your facelift Tanker. Very well done.

Greetings people, I've just updated one of my BR MK1 coaches and are now available through my site if anyone here is interested

Using .PM files, these look like very old assets that have been reskinned. They won't even load into TS22.

That's because they are reskinned assets. They're originally reskinned from pikkabird's old mk1 coaches, in fact v3 of those coaches started from that instead of using even older paintshed coaches that were slightly modified using magandy's lms bogey. For TS19/22, you could try them if you wish but using newer version coaches like mike10s or even payware ones would make more sense as these coaches shown were made more for trainz 2009 - 12ish.

Due to the nature of County Durham , the area I am modelling has a LOT of coal mines and here is NCB Lambton Tank 30 climbing up to Lumley 6th Pit. I use the EMT coal mine because it is visible from afar but unfortunately it has 2 coal heaps on one side and chutes on the other which make it difficult to integrate into a realistic track layout.

Thank you ! The telephone box and guide post are actually marked on the 1959 OS map and I inferred the level crossing sign would be there. The gates on the left are on the long disused branch to George Pit. Since I started pasting OS maps to beaseboards I am working a lot faster (Thanks @georgem2010 ).

After a week or so of little to no work on my Midland Rly/LMS Leicester to Burton route, I managed to put a few hours in today.

Working east of Ashby for the first time in a long time. Here you can see the Coleorton Colliery sidings, signal box and branch.

West bound goods passes the platelayers hut at Alton Hill distant semaphore. How far have you noticed is the spacing of platelayers huts on your layouts? They are every mile or so on this route.

A good 20-30 years later on Coalville allocated 8F hauls empty open wagons towards Leicester.

I used to work at the Coalville open days held in the 1980's and am looking forward to this. My Dad used to work over part of the line as a loco fireman from Toton en route Nuneaton. I still know quite a few drivers and retired drivers etc from the depot.
