Trainz Update Announcement (SP5)

Ah, Trainz22 PE 128487 calls that Low, Standard, Ultra.
Don't you wish they would implement a standard dictionary and stick to it? Or do the marketing people blindly follow the latest buzz words?

It sounds like the left hand's not talking to the right, or it's the marketing department at it again as you say.
 
Since updating to SP5 for TRS22PE I have noticed three bugs:

1) Track objects won't attach to track (solved by using JCitron's wonderful work around)

2) Lower framerate when working on my route in Surveyor. The spline rotating circles are stuttering as they turn. This was not happening until SP5. (I have the same graphics settings as when I was running SP4)

3) The default grass ground texture in Surveyor is now an ugly dirt/muddy grass color on my route. Any way to bring back the SP4 green default grass texture? Could the new default ground texture be causing the lower frame rate?

Any ideas on how to fix the default ground texture or the suddenly lower frame rate caused by SP5 would be greatly appreciated.
If you play around with 2.0 you will not have the spline circles at all. Yes I know the interface is confusing but you can set the grade for the terrain, track, road, etc. Smooth ground under buildings, etc. its really easy once you know how to use 2.0. There is a region that you can get from the DLS if you want the PBR S2.0 ground texture. All the builtin Regions have the same texture.
