Hello Everyone,

As we gear up to release TLR - Phase 2 and SP5 updates, we have a new build which has restored previous rendering. This build has all imposter use turned off, Assertion Errors disabled and it includes prebuilt shaders.

With these changes, performance should be restored to SP4 release levels

Please use https://n3vgames.typeform.com/to/xRdryu to report any bugs or issues found.

Change log (127542 to 128152)
  • Imposters completely disabled
  • Shaders prebuilt

New Feature: Dispatch Manager

Where to find it:
Dispatch Manager can be located via Tools menu or opened via “Show Dispatch Manager” found under Driver properties, Dispatch Status

What you can do with it:
  • Easy way to monitor all dispatch tasks and identify any issues
  • List all Drivers and their dispatch status
  • List all the industries and dispatch status
  • List all Trains and the list can be broken up into rolling stock and powered trains, or both
  • Find rolling stock for a product
  • Find and claim a task to drive as the player

New Option: Claiming a Task (TLR)
  • Claiming a task will behave differently depending on whether it’s an active task or not.
  • If an active task, the current driver commands will be cleared, and the train will be brought to a stop. The train control mode will be switched to either DCC or Cab control, depending on the session/player default
  • Tasks can be claimed via Dispatch Manager or via Driver Details, under Dispatch Status

In addition to the Dispatch Manager, there is a new vehicle queue editor with reworked UI, and a new Activity Journal.

Update: New Vehicle Queues Editor
  • A new UI can now be found for vehicles. This replaces the old script and will resemble the interface used for Industry queues
  • Accessed by CTRL + Right click on rolling stock in Driver or Edit Details in Surveyor
  • Can add commodities directly
  • New copy and paste feature to copy commodities to other rolling stock

Activity Journal Script API
  • A more compressive logging system in order to track activity with dispatch and AI driving behaviour

How to try TLR Phase 2:

  2. Install "Coal Country (HDT)" (simc:1663)
  3. Drive "<kuid2:661281:110131:1> Coal Country TLR Session"

Not to throw a curve ball here, but has there been any reports of problems with Windows 11 24H2 vs 23H2 and older? I had to revert to 23H2 because a few other games/software were having crashing/freezing issues and that was the only way to fix the problem. Thank you for you time.

Maybe. But only for those living on the California and Gulf coast. It freezing ass cold everywhere else, LOL
True. but in Brisbane it is spring now. I'm assume the programming team released this build today rather the usual Friday afternoon drop time cause they have time off.

Downloaded version 128152. Everything went fine. Took about an hour to do the database rebuild. All my routes work fine. Several of the old bugs are now fixed: schedule library, and clutter as examples. I have about 10 packaged assets which show as faulty. I have submitted these in a bug report. I have not been able to fix them myself: open for edit, submit, etc.

The frame rates are still good with everything maxed out. Even on the most complex routes CPU usage is between 40 and 50 percent. Temperature on CPU rarely goes above 60 degrees - most of the time between 45 and 55 degrees.

Extended running of my routes looks good.

Anyone else seen a thin vertical line at the far-left side of the all the screens: menu, surveyor, and driver. The line is about 1/3 of the way down from the top left corner.

Problem solved. The most recent Windows update added a thin sidebar at the far left side of the screen. I deleted the sidebar and things are fine. Never had that happen before.

I Have one built-in asset <kuid2:506034:507341:2> JR SL(04) 1-H-SS-solar center 20ft showing as faulty in 128152 already made a bug report. otherwise this a beater build so far.

I Have one built-in asset <kuid2:506034:507341:2> JR SL(04) 1-H-SS-solar center 20ft showing as faulty in 128152
I have the exact same asset but it is not showing as faulty in my build 126280.

Perhaps the initial DBR after installation did not complete. Try a manual DBR.

Hi pware, <kuid2:506034:507341:2> JR SL(04) - locally modified 1-H-SS-solar center 20ft can not find asset "solar battery" with in its library because it does not contain that mesh <kuid2:506034:500774:6>. - built-in JR Searchlight Signal mesh library (H,H-2 type) , but the <kuid2:506034:500774:5> JR Searchlight Signal mesh library (H,H-2 type) contains the the mesh asset "solar battery". hope that helps

can not find asset "solar battery"
My copy of <kuid2:506034:507341:2> JR SL(04) 1-H-SS-solar center 20ft, which is built-in and is showing no errors, has the following dependencies:-

<kuid2:45324:10101:4> Red Corona
<kuid2:506034:500774:5> JR Searchlight Signal mesh library (H,H-2 type)
<kuid2:45324:10102:4> Yellow Corona
<kuid2:45324:10103:4> Green Corona
<kuid2:45324:555100:20> Jointed Rail Smart Signal library v1.77a
<kuid:506034:653578> SL Spring Switch sign mesh library (H,H-2 type)

JR Searchlight Signal mesh library (H,H-2 type) is present built-in as an earlier version with a different <kuid> (:5 instead of :6).

"solar_bat.lm.txt" and "solar.bat.im" are both present in the mesh library identified above.

One thing that puzzles me is that you have identified the asset as "Modified" which normally means that you have opened it for editing and then submitted it. Did you edit anything in the asset? Just submitting without editing can create the "Modified" label.

Try using CM to select the asset (right click on it) and select Revert to Original from the drop down options.
