I guessed 7th Ave because 2train has only given IRT stations to date. I wasn't sure about the line colors.

8 ave and 34 st
You're not a New Yorker if you don't know your streets from your avenues. Avenues intersect with streets. That pic (you should probably use a picture that doesn't require photoshopping) is most definitely 34th Street - Penn Station on the 8th Avenue line, because the 7th Avenue line uses yellow trim, not red.
What Jamal is saying 2train is that among the many 34 st stations, he is picking the one on the 8th Ave IND line.
