The Aurania Thread

Alberte, the people of Aurania are desperate for you to become their leader. However, we have a class 1 despot in charge and he doesn't want to give up power.

So, until I can d/l enough tanks from the DLS to pull off a coup, would you do us the honour of judging this final round, bearing in mind that we still have one more entry to come in? I think it would make things fairer.

Okay, now this is becoming very unfair. Gandalf0444 now has the opportunity to use the Aurania Logo and use the Auranian Colours. Honestly I think the 2nd round of competition should be started again to give us 3 a fair go.

Ah come on Tom, if your entry is good enough it will win and if it isn't you will not. One logo is not going change that.

All competitions need a change of rules during the match to keep it interesting.
 
Meh, but what about the colours?? :P
I just hope the judging will be fair and take all of this into consideration....

OK chaps, just to allay your fears, pics will be judged on what looks best. The loco does not have to carry the colours of our proud country of Aurania (puts hand on heart) but they do have to carry the Aurania State Railways logo, as stated in the rules.

To avoid any accusations of unfairness, I will judge the pics myself as originally stated. Alberte was just trying to be helpful.

Everybody's should be happy. As he stated, I didn't want to interfere at all, just providing tips, maybe a bit late. :hehe:

Now just spotting what's on over here. Just for fun, like everything concerning my trainzy life.

Well the picture would have been posted already however I have had family issues...and now CMP is now on vacation :n: :'( :(
And as a side note.I did not use the aurania logo or colors to make it fair...
 
Don't spend time changing your work just because of me. Padster has stated that it dosen't matter about the colours or logo. I feel bad if you have spent ages Re-colouring it etc.

Nope I didn't even see the logo to tell you the truth until an hour or so before my last post...
I didn't use the logo mind you.
I am still plauged with family,and school issues etc.
However I did get the picture.

Hi all! I know, I know, I wasn't even part of the competition, but that's because I have been away for a while. I dropped by and saw this thread, liked Zwab's paint scheme, and decided to do one of my own. I even plan on throwing in a B unit!

Stick around, I'm still working a bit of magic on the RR logo.

Before I open the gold envelope and reveal the winner of Aurania Comp 1, I would like to thank everyone for taking part. Mr Chaos, it is a shame that you didn't take part in this comp as your F7 looks superb and could have been a potential winner, but alas you didn't, and in any case you have made your entry void by editing your post!

The winning entry had an easy on the eye paint scheme and had good placement of logos. Zwabberaars work appealed to me the most, and it looks the part.

Hard luck to those who didn't win anything this time. Keep posted for the next comp which will be coming up shortly.

Oh. I didn't have the image when I first posted. Sorry!

Plus, I can still do logos and etc. The pink crap around the words was me forgetting to turn off interpolating before I shrunk the image...Pure pink is the color of choice for making transparent logos in TRS.

Oh, and when is the next comp, and what is it about?

SD40-2?
