So Who's in for Trainz Classics 3

I will not be buying, the dark side has pulled me over (KRS) and i'm loving every bit of it :D

I shall certainly be buying TC3. I plan to make it my default Trainz program since I will only download and hold on it buildings etc for my planned UK layouts. The new locos & stock look mouth watering! I have tried KUJU's Train Simulator but have given up on it - just not my scene. I prefer Trainz & the planned TC3 sound improvements will I think ensure that Trainz will hold its own against the competition.

From what I can tell TC3 is all about steam train enhansements which is great as far as that goes. I like American industrial diesel stuff. I will wait until the "I can't wait beta folks" get the first copies and see what interesting discussion follows before buying. I am rather patient. I still use TRS2004.:hehe:

I couple of us TrainzItalian are in too.
After testing RS and a small experience with MSTS (I know MSTS2 will be another story, but children learn from parents...) I will said: TRAINZ FOREVER

Although I like the idea of a British route, especially one as famous as this, it's not enough for me to buy it.

I use KRS and TRS2004, and I'm very happy with both, so it will take a new version of TRS for me to join those who "must have the latest version".

Having said that, if I see it in the bargain bin, and the talk on these forums is that pretty much all of the promises made by the marketing department have been kept, then I could pick it up. :hehe:

We shall see.

Smiley.

I'm still on the fence about it. Like Magicland, I'm not particularly interested in the route (even though it does look good :)) and I'm very loathe to pay for what's mostly bugfixes, but on the other hand, the steam improvements look very, very tantalizing.

I'll probably wait until after release and see what others are saying about it before I commit to buying it.

Same here.:)

dreddman, your post looks like an e-book website. Don't do that.

I'm definitely in for TC3 if only for the steam improvements.

Count me in as well please guys, even though I don't know how much it will cost, I might have to do some overtime to pay for it.....:hehe:
Any decision on that score yet please Mike/Paul/anybody or is it too early say??

Hey, I've just completed my first 24 hour stint playing TRAINZ..........

Off to bed now......NIGHT NIGHT.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

I agree. I'll stick with 06 for now & read the reviews after it's released I'm more interested to see what's after TC3.As Spaid said awhile back "not sure whats after TC3" but a decision will be made.
Hopefully it's a replacement for TRS2004 & TRS2006 with all the new bug fixes.

The route looks a lot more useful than the old tat on TC 1&2. Not the brightest idea to come out of Auran to say the least. The improvement to roads were OK though. I'm looking forward to TC3 it really looks good.

Yes, I'll be buying TC3 - the new features and new rolling stock make it a must have for serious TRS enthusiasts in the UK (and beyond). I also trust the people involved in the TC3 development - I don't believe they'll sell us a pup. ;)

What I have seen so far from TC3 looks very promising. The first two installments of TC had nothing that interested me but this version might actually make it to the HD.

It all depends on the manner of how a number of issues have been fixed with this 3 version in the series. I'll await the verdict of testing this before deciding to acquire it.
