Question About Victorian Railways D1 Class and Victorian Railways Type 2 DD Class

Trainz Driver
I got those 2 packs

[h=4]Victorian Railways D1 Class (Type 4 - Newport) Black[/h]
[h=4]Victorian Railways Type 2 DD Class Pack[/h]
Now the locs come with a Standard Gauge version however the Tenders do not, does anyone know what Tender I'm suppose to use for those locs ? Is there an Alternative or a Solution or can I download them at the DLS ? or Elsewhere.

Any Help would be great
 
Just use the SG ones for now, no one will notice but you and I promise it wont cause a derailment :D

Perhaps it is just a reflection of the state of affairs in VR at the moment. Broad gauge (5ft 3in, 1600mm) lines outside the metro area are being converted to standard gauge (4ft 8.5in, 1435mm):D

Thanks for reporting this, I have already sent a reply to your email requesting a few details, but I'll copy it here as well.

Could you please confirm for me if the tenders for the BG versions are appearing in Trainz?

Could you also possibly confirm for me which version of Trainz you are using? Please include the build number (shown on the bottom right corner of the launcher screen).


The VR DD T2 Pack should include the tenders, so it's possible they're either missing from the pack, or have not actually installed. The above should help to confirm this, and I'll be checking into this here as well when I can.

The VR D1 (Type 4) pack does not include standard gauge versions, as I found that the time required when I did the 'Type 2' (T2) versions was far more than I could justify with future projects. I may re-introduce this for some specific assets, but it is a substantial modification to the asset, so I can't guarantee this.

Personally, I tend to just run the BG content on SG routes if I'm wanting to run on that route (and tend to run the late Billegulla's SG models of VR steamers on my BG routes!), but I understand this isn't for everybody.

Already answered the email, but yes the BG Tenders are there just not the SG Tenders. And im running build 98510 the newest one but also was in previous builds, also looked in CM and they are not in there either. Got the SG Locs but not the Tenders
