What does that have to do with anything on the thread? Let's not wander too far off. And you can post anything on Facebook as long as its not obscene.

Hey Guys!

Today I'm going on another tour of Union Station with my friend and we might go up in the interlocking tower. If I take pics does anyone want me to post them? I could do some TRS vs Real shots since I already have the station modelled too.

If your interested in me posting them just post!

Sure! I'd always be happy to see them. TRS vs Real are always interesting pictures.

:)

Crap Trainz is being bitchy again so I cant do that part of the shots but if anyone wants I could still post what I took pictures of while I was there.

These are just some of my pics, the ones from DC are a small percent of what I took..

NE Regional passing through Lanham, MD:

Looking from atop a strip mall. The capitol beltway (495) is on the right bridging over the NEC:

Now time for a small amount of my WUS prototype shots. Please don't ask how I got these. I'd like to keep those matters private. They are here for you to enjoy.

Looking at K Tower from the upper 20's tracks:

INSIDE K TOWER LOOKING NORTH. This is seen from the employee lounge which is connected to the control center. Sorry but I am not sharing the pics of the controls for security reasons. Here we have a Metro approaching the New York Ave. Red Line stop and a Amtrak switcher heading towards the station with a 2 person crew:

Another view from the tower. This of the little MARC storage area:

A single AEM-7 pulls out towards the pocket as a full regional consist is shoved back into the upper level by another AEM-7:

Same regional shoving back and a HHP-8 is seen idling out in the bowl while its consist's diesel gets removed.

Last for now. Here the same HHP-8 has been hooked up to its train and is testing breaks while passengers load in.

The station was rather dead since it was a Saturday (this Saturday Aug. 29 to be exact) and there wasn't much traffic and MARC doesn't run on weekends. Still enough action fro cool shots.

I hope you guys like it.

P.S. ha ha ha last years senior prank was to steal all the clocks and put them on the front entry board but it was damp in the air and the clocks were like an anvile falling from 100 ft. the senior's now have an obigation before they can leave for college.

I have been following this ever since saturday. Nobody has been posted for a while. I will like to have a update of all things of all the progress you have made. I can help. I still have TRS2006 and a big HD that never has crashed on me for 5 yrs. straight. Just send me a converted version and i will be able to help things along. I always have time. I am practically home almost everyday and can do it.

I have looked in your pictures and you have the wrong signals. I have checked and that the signals should be like so:

screenshot20090907at504.png

This is taken from the MSTS Quick reference guide. You should model the signals like it. if you don't wan't to then i may do it.

I would say that the signals are the least of the worries at the present time. Not to mention who said that the signals from MSTS are correct? MSTS has just as many flaws in the routes compared to trainz.

Well not exactly... I found that the signals are correct because it was on a acela Special on History Channel. I saw the same exact ones! LOL i said they were correct

Actually these are the prototypical for most sections of the NEC and some signals are different. MSTS had many flaws and I wouldn't base my judgements off that crap. Plus that game's NEC route came out like 8 or 9 years ago.

By today's standards MSTS is a joke. Ive played it and its decent for what it was but its worthless as a reference.

Thank you for your input,

Davis

Yea... I agree. But i started the MSTS>TRS2006 Project where my team (I don't have one:o ) re-create every route and session that came with it. Well lets say that the project failed because i never got a team together and My thread got deleted.:'( I think though that we may do this again now!!! With you, you are officially part of the project.:D

Hey i found some good signals, but the problem is that they have the wrong lighting. It is having some errors:confused: but i think that we can fix the problems. I will post the kuids:D :

I don't know if these are correct or not? I think these may work for the time being. If anyone would like to correct me, go ahead!!!

Actually my signals are correct. Those are the old signals. When Amtrak overhauled all of their signals they removed some bulb positions and colourized all of them.

I don't know what to say at this point, I know what I am doing here.
