New USA Mountain Shortline - Large Pics (1024 x 786)

Thank you very much Jadebullet, Iced8383, acbdfaqoz, and SRR89 (and any one else that I haven't thanked lately  ) for all of your wonderful comments and taking time to post screenies from the route. :) I really do appreciate it!

The partially abandoned Eureka Spur leaves the Vonny branch in downtown Vonny. Up to MP 0.3, the track serves Berwind-White Inc.’s Eureka Store. Boxcars of inbound goods for retail sale are received on a regular basis.

However, the spur used to continue to the now closed Eureka Mine #35. The spur is out of service beyond MP 0.3 with the rest of the weed-covered track rusting in place.

Nice touch, somehow I'm missing a fallen tree over the line looking at the derelict mine :hehe:

Hi Bill,

Got everything sorted yesterday. Using trs2006 there where some assets to be fixed and, with the CMP as it is, that took some time ;) Actually there was only one asset I couldn't get right, the "Caboose #3 Scenery" from Elvenor that seemed to be missing a mesh file. Curious indeed :D

I must say for a European never been in the States it definitly feels the part. Nice realistic athmosphere, this certainly wetted my appetite to explore more

Btw, if you have suggestions for types of rolling stock and operators I'm interested.

Greetings from rainy Amsterdam,

Jan

Thanks Jan! I appreciate the feedback. I am glad you are enjoying the route.

Here there are some session ideas you asked about... They are in this thread on pages 3 and 4....

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=35051

Also, be sure to download the timetable and tour. They will give you ideas on what type of rolling stock goes where. The links to both documents are in post #1 on page 1 of the same thread.

It's 6 AM and train GRLO makes the first pick up of the day at AG-CoOP Inc. These grain hoppers are bound for the Purina Chow company as well as Agway Inc and further destinations.

The conductor waits for the train to exit the spur to throw the switch back to its original position.

I agree -- great looking shots Joe! It looks like you find the route fun to operate.

Thanks for the great compliment, Iced!

EDIT: The forum computer is posting the comments out of order.... but the thought is there!

Nice Shots and excellent route Bill!

Thanks traincrazy!

Perhaps someone here knows how to help you delete things - I guess it depends on whether you have trainzobjects or not....

This route looks amazing! too bad i dont have an fct for all those dependancies.... (watches 4kb/s download speed while downloading route) IT literraly takes me 2+ days to download a route.... and... we only have 21 gigs left in our hd so no one wants me to get a fct to download. IF ONLY I COULD FIND A WAY TO DELETE ALL THE TRAINS I DONT USE!

At request of Billm001, I have reskinned a hopper into the Berwind scheme. I will be releasing it onto the DLS. Here is a pic of it. Thanks to whitepass for the permission to release it.

Action on the Paint Branch

As I promised Bill, or...sorta promised, I downloaded the P&BRR and I am, for the first time, in love with a Trainz Route. So, I decided to do a little run on the Paint Branch.

According to the Timetable:

Depart: CURRY MILL
ASHTOLA
CUB RUN
PAINT
PAINT CREEK JUNCTION (P&B Main Line)

Now for the pictures:

A late night load out of Curry Mill gets the Highball, and throttles up.

After passing the Grade Crossing at Ashtola, we cross over a river (Not sure of a name)

Cub Run? (I think. Sorry about being loose on the names)

Hitting the main line

And finally, off to the Cement Plant and Mt. Union

Again, sorry about being bad at this, I'm a noob. :hehe:
