Multiple Multiple Industry New

Is it possible to set several Multiple Industries New alongside each other? I haven't been able to do this while maintaining each instance as a discrete item - they seem all to adopt the name and properties of the last created/amended one, and moving any particular one is tricky to say the least.. I've played around with this on a test route for days and got nowhere fast.

No, it's not possible to join 2 or more 'Multiple Industry' together directly
It is however possible to add track in between the multiple industry, just have to align the circles to make it look straight

The problem is the width (~26m) of the invisible mesh. When several MINs are placed side by side, the invisible meshes overlap each other, making it nearly impossible to select a MIN. You could put each MIN on its own layer, and hide/lock the layers of the MINs, which you don't want to modify.

Yes, but create temporary layers for each one. If you have 5 MIN's you want 5 layers. Make 4 layers invisible and then name the one still visible. Do this for each one and then merge them into the layer you want them on.

The MIN's, as p-dehnert points out, are difficult to edit once placed. To overcome this, you can start by placing them far apart at first, so you can edit each one. Once you do that, then move them where you want them. If you want to edit them after that, move the mouse either far to the left, or the right to find the MIN you want to select, it's a little tricky, but can be done, layers not needed.
