JR Muiltiple Industry New Update

what's a normal map?
I have started an overhaul of the MIN asset again. This time we are adding some new behaviors and features for handling trains.

There are some new options in configuration to take a look at.

Industry operation mode ->
Trainz Default: The usual operation of a trainz industry.
Load/Unload all cars at this industry track: This option enables the industry track to operate on any vehicles that are found inside the loading area. This can be delayed by a start time. This is intended to be used in a more prototypical fashion, where train vehicles are left at the industry to be picked up hours or days later.
Load/Unload while moving: This option allows loading or unloading while moving at a certain speed. Intended for unit train load/unloaders.

Each of these will bring up more options relating to that operational mode. Here is a description of them:
Set loading/unloading to begin after: This allows a wait time after the vehicle is detected by the industry before attempting an operation on it.
Set loading/unloading process duration: This is the amount of time it should take to fully load or unload a vehicle. For example if the vehicle should take 1 hour to load from empty to full (or vice versa). This time will only apply to loading the vehicle directly, i.e. if there isn't enough product at the industry to even begin the loading, this doesn't take into account waiting for the product to be produced.
Set length of loading area: This allows setting the length by which the industry will try to operate on vehicles.
Cars that unload here can be loaded with outgoing cargo: This can be useful if you wish to reload the car with an outgoing product once it becomes empty. If this is not selected the industry will not attempt to load a car it has already unloaded.
Only operate on one car at a time: This will cause the industry to operate on vehicles in sequence from when they are detected, and not start a new operation until the first is complete.

The operations also work between saves and sessions, so if you have set to take 5 hours to load a boxcar, and you need to save and close the game and its only loaded for 2 hours, it will pick back up where it left off when the session resumes.

Here are a few screenshots and videos of operation.

The various options and features for the load/unload freight wagons at the industry and then the duration of that time within those options combined with the setting lenght of loading area and the ability to save between sessions looks to be a very significant boost to realistic operations :).
Well done JR team (y).

Justin --

Incredibly useful and a considerable advance on the basic MIN.

Could I ask that it be made available on the Download Station?

This should already be in the game from the start... But for some reason the developers are busy with something completely different. And it all looks interesting, it's just a pity that the game is based on mods, and not on developments from the game's authors themselves

This is wonderful work, and one of the reasons I continue Club Car membership with this wonderful group. Can you state the build number? I remain 4.6 for now.

It is a customized version of a MIN industry. Visually, it is just a track segment so it be used with any industry scenery object.

And as I understand it, now in order for the carriage to be loaded/unloaded, a locomotive does not have to be attached?

Can this multi-industry simply be placed on an existing track?
It is a standard 10m MIN track segment, just with new options if you want, otherwise it will work as it did before.
And as I understand it, now in order for the carriage to be loaded/unloaded, a locomotive does not have to be attached?
A locomotive or a command is not required when using the Load/Unload all mode, just an appropriate vehicle to transfer goods to or from.

I just remember that if, for example, you started loading a wagon at some industry, the control of the locomotive was blocked

No this does not function that way in Load/Unload all mode. You can drop the traincars at the industry and continue along while they are loaded/unloaded over the amount of time you have set. AI trains can be set to uncouple and leave cars at the industry and move on to the next assignment. The supply or demand come from the industry so no load or unload command is necessary in this mode. If you leave a traincar inside the loading boundary with a load the industry demands, or if the car can accept loading of something the industry provides, then the industry will attempt to transfer between them. You may even add or remove or reposition cars inside the boundary during the process; If the industry detects a car that is loading/unloading is moved it will enter a waiting period to determine if it can resume, or in the case the car was totally removed from the area, wrap up the operation and mark the car off the list.

With the unload while moving mode you may assign an AI driver with a load or unload command and they will drive over the moving load/unloader at the correct speed (thus not allowing control until complete with the driver command), but you may also drive the train manually at the correct speed if you wish.

But I can also extend the loading/unloading process to 200m, right?

in load all mode the loading area boundary can be extended to 200m sure.
