This Character Driver was made in http://www.evolver.com/ Autodesk server character online customized in ther and exported in max in fbx format.
The rigged and animation job i do for myself.

Hi Dricketts no problem i see your reskin and are grate good job on this, in the reality i made the driver as a attachment att point Mesh, i cant control the position of the mesh they are in origem point 0,0,0,, when you chose a loco for put this driver mesh all depends of the position of the a.driver0 point in the loco main body, if is in the right side then they appear in the right side but if the loco have it in the left side then the driver gonna appear in the left side to, the attachment mesh container are inside the container effects and you cant positioning or moving the att point of the loco main body, the only way i know for correct the position of the mesh is make whit the attachment Pev tool a new point to mach the new position for the driver, i probable can be wrong about this and can be other way i dont know for rectified that position. But i show you here how you can put a attachment driver mesh in case of you have any problem whit this. i hope they help. If not post me please.

You can also adjust the driver mesh changing the position in the proper mesh driver in position function inside default mesh. i forghot completly of this function.

New Reskin of the BR - Ferry van earlier Livery not already finish the new symbol and lettering. They have a old paint reskin effects in Photoshop whit normal maps.

Hi , some of you see this character´s whit 2.7k polys and 5.5 k poly´s maybe can think ....Dammit.... this is to much polys for trainz if you gonna put 10 or 20 of these characters in the same place they gonna start to burn our resources in trainz, well this is quite true and i still making experiences whit then , i remember all here at the present time in any game engine of this days the poly count for a crowd people is 2.7 k polys and a consider low poly figure in this games can be 5.5 kp but this engines in my point of view have a more advanced processes whit the new textures Dds multiple textures, this mind they have a unique main texture of 1024x1024 and more for all the 5 lods and whit a compression decompression very much fast in relation of our tgas textures or jpgs textures processes in trainz´, but if wee use well the available resources of trainz in cmp wee really can have 5k polys characters whit out any problem at all, whit lods of course but the lods are not enough wee need to change the size of textures from the lod one by one. And 3 lods is not enought to whe need to go 5 lods for take all advantage as posseble whit the distances distribution of this lods.
In relation to driver mesh´s i dont really think they need some kind of lods because 2.7 k polys in one loco or even in multiplier in the same place whit 3 driver mesh is not to much i think.
I have a great example of a Spanish Content Creator the Lu Lanuny of a Electric substation in they route made by him and available for download here http://www.lunman3d.es/ if you dont believe me download this substation and the dependencies they have night mode and are great amazing model, but they have 100 000 polys, but runs very well and why? they have 5 lods and are very good optimized.
Then im my experiences i conclude whit this lods and textures procedures you can have 30 or more characters in the same place whit animation whit out any problem whit your frame rates.
The images bellow shows, how to reduce a poly count in max of one character automatically and made the correspondent lods for then.

Great work as usual arraial, I can see there will be a hole burnt though my pocket as the Ferry Van looks too good to turn down. That said, I might have enough money left over from my hopeful (to be built) new trainz rig since the old one is 2 1/2 years old and its getting rather unreliable.

Keep up the great work Arraial :).
