reskinning

Now i know this has been brought up many times but i was wondering if someone could get me a straight walkthrough on how to reskin engines from start to finish. please don't redirect me to another forum post 'cause i'll post likely get confused :hehe: haha. i'm reskinning engines on trs2009, using paint.net.

-links to PEV downloads i would need would be helpful. i just want like a basic walkthrough from start to finish like (some of the stuff i do know) clone the model, (don't know next steps) paint it, (then do what ever you need to do to put it in the game).

Unfortunately, the only way you're going to learn is by trying to work through a tutorial the same why as everyone else (I'm not giving out here). It is not as complicated as you think. I use GIMP but I learned by following the tutorial here which is for MS Paint. The more you work at it, the more you will pick up various tricks and skills to make your reskins more realistic.
