Today was an unusual day...we saw CP Rail testing out their brand new ES44AC's on the Death Valley Line. We would have taken more pics, but it was raining too hard and we had to go back in.
Here we see them pulling out of Death Bay seaport.
Standing on the tracks was not such a good idea...
What are those? Are those ghostlights? No, those are just the GEVO's.
Haven't contributed to screenshots in a while. I've been starting work on my route again little by little. I have left Bathurst area for now and moved on to the Matapedia Quebec / New Brunswick border area for a change. So here are the shots:
This one is the arial shot of the area I have covered so far, (you may have to click to be able to zoom in some):
We start on Matapedia side looking towards new brunswick:
Opposite direction:
Look at the road/bridge entry into NB:
A few different pics of the area where the side street is showing towards the end of the arial shot:
Yes I just started playing around with signs. I will be doing more once the train route is done but at least i know what is available. Makes a great deal of difference with road signs as far as scenery. And had to use that Tims billboard... Now all I need is an actual Tims building.. does one exist?
Was going to add these to the shots of the week but was too late. Anyway here they are. Completed the Matapedia Via Rail station today. Looks pretty similar.. Will add some day shots later. This is pics with both the Ocean and Chaleur trains on scene...
