Now lets see here hmmm F40PHM-2 vs F69PHAC hmm differences lets see here.. Well for one the names are different. Two the plows, three AC units, four front headlights, five the paint scheme, six if right the F69PHAC is longer, seven the horn, should I go on?? Neve said he had to, I was saying 147 OLS is gone due to the rebuilt project but you keep mis stating what I said.. He can do whatever he damn well pleases but what said which half of you seem to be blinded to, is he might make one.. But no, miscontext my statment you must do.. Mhmhmhm.. Now you say I'm complaining you haven't even seen complaining yet but, you want complaining ok how about this for a complaint short of me cusing you out for pretty much not even reading what the hell I wrote. Don't attack someone without asking what hell he means. I wasn't attacking no one at all, I was just speaking my mind or stating MY OPINION which I am right is legal in the US. So how about you go play role of Mr. Tough guy someone were else because it does NOT work on me especially when you come at me and didn't even know what or how I was saying it. Just look when I joined the forums buddy. LolHey guys. Take it easy. Dont fight between you. There is no reason to do it . As Metrarailboy said, yeah a F40PH-2 with other colors than metra would look worse. As i want to cover all the F40s. First of, i want to finish this one, to test it, to see how it goes. And then to focuse on the ohter F40PHs. As the F40PH-2 from Metra and the F40PH-2 from Canada arent the same. And answering some questions
1- I will try to make all the F40PHs. Using parts from the first model, and modeling new parts from scratch
2- For the Texture baking. I still havnt solved it, but i will make the unwrap so the model could be textured and tested
3- I will release a beta soon with only the model as you see it. Textured and usable in trainz. The good one will come later
4- The bilevels will come after the F40PH-2 finish, at same time as the F40PHM-2, that yes, its almost the same as the F69PH
5- This and the rest of things that will come in a future, will be always FREEWARE, sorry for posting the other, as this is a comunity and not a shop
6- This never will turn into vaporwave
7- For what southwestinAZ1 said in one post. What you call europeanscripts is the Andi06 AJS Superscript, the LLCR rule, and others. Those two very useful and very used in spanish content. As with AJS Superscript you can add submeshes, change liveries, turn on/off driver,lights,attachs,corridors and others while in surveyor and in driver modes. With the LLCR you can set the lights to work with Front and Rear lights, always turned on and changed with train direction, very useful for the metra content. As this is very used on the SpainTrainzRutas content, i could get help from they, and this will be a very good thing

And the trucks haves by now 5,6K but i will decrease it as the wheels doesnt need that level of detail

Oh gawd Ivan don't make me cry tears of joy.... As well I have a question for you. I'll ask you tomorrow on facebook about the F40PH-2s for Metra.. But all in all looks amazing especially the cab! Damn good job my friend!

Having railfanned Metra a few times myself I greatly appreciate this item, and your attention to detail...although I doubt my old, crappy computer will appreciate the detail!

This calls for the celebration!!! I have to admit, with most of the f40s popular in the US (I think) most of them are like pretty different. Some with the horn, some without the horn (on the "head-er") of the cab. But u sure u know how to work the AJS Superscript?

Looking really nice, the only thing I see is the top of your nose looks like it has too sharp an angle. There could be a few more nitpicky things but as I'm not very familiar with these particular F40s, I can't say much.

Some of them are ex-Amtrak. As far as I can see, they're basically the same as Amtrak F40PHs besides a few optional extras.
Good work guy. I see the nose is very slanted as well, perhaps it's the angle? I know locomotives can take on different looks at certain angles, but as long as your using good plans, no complaints. XD

Actually there is only two units that were bought from a museum in TN if I'm right but Metra immediately sent them out to rebuilt so we never got see them in the original form after purchase. If you look at them you would never know they were ex. Amtrak units unless you look at the numbers which are 215 and 216 and those are the only F40PHs that are not PHM-2s that are numbered in the 200 series.. The rebuilt project makes the F40PHs look completely different in many ways than the F40PH-2 and the original F40PHs that ran on the MILW lines. But 215 and 216 are the only units that Metra owns that were ran on a different railroad besides the F40Cs which I still dont think that counts. :hehe:

The units from Tennessee were purchased from the Tennessee Central Railroad Museum, which TCRM foolishly gave away...

Hey, at least they are working again instead running around in circles or just sitting there. I rather have a unit given to a railroad as long as I know it is in good hands...
Sorry guys. I have forgoted all the work after a massve files lost. So i could say that this and the other projects are dead by now. Iam very sorry and im going to see if i can get a copy of any backup or progress. I am very sad as i have lost all the work. But at least i can restart they
