When will Trainz download station be updated?

Hi,
My question is when will the Trainz download station be updated? Currently it shows a the Trainz 2004 download station, yet it carries all versions of Trainz, and that is my problem.

Even though we select just the versions of Trainz that applies to our purchase, when we do our search, our search results shows results for all versions of Trainz. This means that we have to wade through lots of stuff for things that are a waste of our time. that is, we buy our download ticket and then have to waste our time searching through stuff that doesn't apply to our version of Trainz.

Surely this has annoyed others as well, yet I cannot find any reference to it on a search of the Forum.

Hope that this doesn't sound like a whinge, which it probably is, but I would like it be considered as a possible update for the future.

The work involved to do that would probably take several days, during which we probably wouldn't have access to the DLS.

It's best to familliarise oneself with the tickboxes and dropdown boxes to reduce the amount of unwanted content appearing.

Also, when a search is conducted, another search form appears with the ability to narrow down a search.

It's there because the majority of stuff does actually work in the newer versions and is used in many of the routes old and new, the ones with errors are mostly easily repaired anyway.
There is actually currently an updating old stuff to current standards exercise going on which will obviously take some time due to the vast number of items but will eventually solve your problem.

Meanwhile, if you use content manager to search, not the web page and use the + button and select Location DLS and + minimum build number you can filter older stuff out if it's not what you want.

DonP,
TS2010 already has the capability you asked about. Start CM3.3, click the Download Station tab, set the Search Action Panel parameters to minimum build version - 2.9 to get TS2009 and TS2010 assets or 3.0 to get TS2010 only.

Unfortunately (especially with routes) TS2009 SP4 also uses trainz-build 3.3 for newly created routes, so you will always see both TS2009 (SP4) and TS2010 routes, no matter what you set the minimum build version at.
