What is Trainz Simulator 12 ?

You do not really collect underwear, do you, Alberte?

Regards.

:hehe::hehe: Of course not, dear Retro. Forum literature has its licences. :p:hehe::hehe:

Put it collecting stamps, butterflies, frying pans, hens, cows, N3VRF4il heroes cards, microwave ovens, wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends, bills, or years... everyone's choice.

The underwear-in-the-drawer side of Alberte

£90+ for the collectors version :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:

I wonder if it has `2500 copy's already sold!` on the cover?

Sorry, but you CaptAmerica's (J.O.K.E.) are welcome to pay the price. I think I will skip this one until:

A. Most of the bug's are known.
B. A must have 'British 2012 only` route is released that has not been done to death and you can not get already (on any Train Sim).
C. More NEW stuff, not just DLS stuff updated for free by the community on here. (Totally new rolling stock not available would be a start).
D. Improved draw distance (this point may of been done! that's possibly one tick of the box)

The `I'm starting to believe Alberte's correct` side of sales advice.

CaptEngland :hehe:

I already have one metal Trainz box around here somewhere, from 2006 as I recall.
I had the metal box from TS2006, but I threw it out a long time ago. Such items mean nothing to me. I would wait for the DL version IF my system could actually support a new version of Trainz (which it will not).

why would i send a fortune on just another update

2010 has not been fixed and no more updates or patches offered for what was touted as the best version yet

hahahaha

they will not get my money

especially on so shady an announcement that includes no real info at all

fuel in brisbane australia is about $1.45 a litre and diesel between 5 to cents a litre dearer

cheers
ron

Its nice to hear 2012 TS, but i would like to see some demo videos, so that everyone can hav an idea.but the routes are nice,i already got Balezino - Mosti routeiin my 2010 TS, if any want this route ,i can give you link.

By regular gas I guess you mean petrol, £6.14p per UK gallon.
Diesel £6.28p.
And it rises roughly 2p per litre a week at the moment.
If you fill up on the motorway services I saw diesel at 144.9p per litre=£6.59p per gallon.

Personally I don't care about the gasoline price - I always pay 30 euro when I refuel. :p

Besides, the economic crisis is a "funny" thing. It doesn't effect all countries in Europe for instance - where I live we have a all time high boom and are almost overheating our economy. The economic crisis in Europe is PIIG problem. We none PIIGS are going full steam ahead now. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks the people in the Baltic states for saving our banking system so that we didn't have to do that. I hope we can repay you someday.

Poster Any one?

I don't care for the new version. I like 2010 the way it is. I can still run all of my old stuff on it. I only wish that I could get the poster. Thats all. It looks nice.

Good Luck! I see you can afford it with your fuel costs being a quarter of that over here!
Thanks.

But here in Vegas we're getting very close to $4.00/gal. That's pretty close to $1.00 a liter. That's still .61GPB a liter, roughly. :)

I'm VERY lucky and have (knock on wood) had little personal effect form the downturn in the economy. I'm thankful for it. I don't have much disposable income, but some of it's going for a bit of a splurge. And that splurge was the "Collector's Edition". After all, Auran employees need to eat, too.

Thanks.

Bah. That price is nothing. We pay about 13.70 SEK for a liter, which is about $2 a liter. Guess how much that is tax in that? About 70%.
The environmentalist have also managed to make it so that we pay VAT on the TAX! So I go by buss. :hehe:

Just a thought........

Perhaps the selling price of TS12 includes a generous donation to the people of Japan.

The Japanese people can use any help they can get.

Respect and prayers for everyone in Japan.

Regards,

Isn't it better to donate directly to Japan instead? I heard that the Red Cross was accepting donations to Japan.

That is correct.

But, perhaps this could be sent as a generous contribution from the Trainz Community worldwide.

Trainz 2012 includes unlock of draw distance......ouch

if TS 2012 would include the unlock of draw distance for high end computers I will be the first in line to only look at TS 2012.
All the rest is the same old silly old fashioned out of this world marketing talk.
How can they even think of these items but everything is in the eye of the beholder.
Again it feels to me like a desperate move to make the cash flow go N3RV...
I would support them if meet my criteria but doubt they even think other than cheap computers which they call the big market no offense to anyone, i started 32 years ago the same way, it's to say, sort of.
Cheap mainframes at that time, i remember I invested more than 500K usd for a 4 terminal config and special airconditioned computer room to start my enterprise of first ever 3D application programming in yes Fortran and a nice little insiders program Varpro (variable programming).
Only 32 years ago:eek: how time flies and think many times if i had what you guys buy these days on the street corner and take for granted or bark at...... we started in the desert in the middle of no where all raw and new territory but looking back very exciting too (if things go well).
N3RV get of your throne and disclose some details of what you not offer in 2012!

Roy:wave:

Well they've hooked you one more time than they've hooked me :hehe: (I didn't buy TC 1&2)

I am more interested in the gambling aspect of the 5 years of future products if I am one of the 10...

Like a raffle, you pays your money and you takes your chances :D

Yep, once bitten twice shy or in my case twice bitten thrice shy!

It's a damned expensive raffle ticket.

its funny reading you guys make all of the ridiculous comments and conclusions...
Fun, did anybody say fun? Let's have some real fun.

I had the metal box from TS2006

:hehe: Is anybody interested in a metal-boxed LE TRS2006 signed by me? :hehe::p

Only one in stock and numbered #1!!!!!

:hehe: More memorabilia shown on the vintage pic and available to collectors too:
  • At the background: A rare Encyclopædia Britannica, read from the beginning to the end. Quite a rarity! :p
  • Below the wonderful boxed TRS2006: A book never written in Spanish by Jim Morrison and The Doors. :p
  • Down on the left: The Klingon version of F. Nietzsche's 'Thus spoke Zarathustra', signed by jIH rur yuch 'ar, the well-known Klingon translator and actor.
  • On the left inside: A can of Screen Cleaning Wipes used by Mr. William Gates as a child. I had the original vintage monitor... but it was lost after a move-in.:p
Don't miss these fantastic collector's items!

Interested, call 010110010011110001101010000111110 extension .zvw

The most freakish side of Alberte :hehe:

This is way too fast and pricey. I an not going to pay 150 when I can spend it on O scale equipment.

Where's the sense in paying £92 up front for a product that may not be released for months?

Keep your money in your own bank account earning interest for yourself rather than giving it to Auran on the strength of a vague promise.

£92 - that is a joke!

Rob.
