What are the best settings for me?

I'm wondering if anyone can figure out what the best settings are for me as my game keeps crashing in driver, and I think that might be a settings issue, so if anyone could help that would be fantastic.

My specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM: 8.00 GB (7.87 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and Touch: No pen or touch input is available for this display

Current Settings:
Shadow quality: off
Main shadow resolution: 2048
Shader Quality: standerd
Texture detail: Normal
Post processing: low
Water quality: High
Detail scenery: Clutter + TurfFX
Antialiasing: 4x
Use PhysX simulation: unchecked
Process objects behind camera: unchecked

I would at least double that RAM since you didn't mention the graphics processing unit in this setup. That 10400F CPU does not have on die GPU. In your Performance Settings from Control Panel, I would set the Min Processor to 100% in all locations. That may help a little bit. You could turn down water quality to the next lowest level, as well as enable process objects behind camera.

Is it a laplop or desktop? From the CPU I'm guessing Desktop.

in Win 11 the GPU can be found here:
Check GPU from Settings

  1. Select Settings > System.
  2. Select Display and scroll down to Related settings.
  3. Select Advanced display. Your GPU’s make and model should be shown under Display information.

Go to https://www.crucial.com/ and run their upgrade computer system scanner. That will tell you what you have and what you can upgrade to.

My suspicion is you have a single 8 GB memory stick. I'd go 32 gigs in two 16 gig sticks which should give you dual channel memory access.

There are you tube videos on how to replace memory, buy an anti static wrist band.

amazon.au Tiardey-Anti-static-Wristband-Wrist-Discharge

The memory sticks come in matched pairs, I quite like Crucial, they do test the memory sticks in the machines but Kingston or Corsair are fine.
