We are using wi-fi and we recently changed our ISP from Spectrum to T-Mobile due to rising expenses

This is your problem. T-Mobile doesn't work well with Trainz. Other people have similar issues with this company.

Hi, i wanted to post a quick update to report that the issue seems to have been fixed on my end (probably since N3V has been working on fixing the issue), and i can use the DLS again. i hope the issue has been resolved for everyone else as well!

Happening to me as well and I have 27 days left on a free FCT that are being wasted. I just bought Trainz 2022 the other day after playing TANE for years and I wanted to take advantage of this FCT trial to redownload as much of my old content as possible. I'm wondering what the deal is with this, since I've never had problems with the servers being down in all my years of playing Trainz (since 2006). I find it odd that I'm suddenly having problems with this out of nowhere. But I guess if other people are having similar problems, it actually is a server issue on N3V's end? I just hope they actually do something about it, although knowing the way things usually go, they probably won't.

It's at least gonna be a few hours until anything can be done, since it's around 5:30 am in Australia where N3V is located. They have to wake up, come into work, and hopefully notice this stuff.

N3V have posted about this issue in a new thread at connection-issue-with-the-firstclass-dls-server and will update that thread as more news becomes available.

We are currently experiencing some issues with connections to the firstclass DLS server, this is unfortunately out of our control and in the hands of our server host who are investigating the issue.

We apologise for an inconvenience this may cause and we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

This thread will be updated once we get more information.
