K1 2-6-0 leaves Prodworthy.

This an extremely fine page of shots so far...I think I'll stay out of it! :hehe:

Can you tell what that footbridge is in your shots please, TLBlade?

Whereabouts in the UK are your other (non-Lickey and non-S&D) shots set? I think I saw the top location in an end of steam special issue of Heritage Railway...

Hmmm, I've cheated just a little by using Trainz Italia's version of Sherman Hill, now that I have it running in TC3....

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Laramie roundhouse, station, and onwards towards Cheyenne.

I like those screenshots Ex-railwayman.

I guessing the layout is Payware being Union Pacific Stuff from Trainz Italia?

P.S. Railtrackedlay - The route is fictional (The Ole Valley Railway Network 1952-1967) Though some stations are based on real once and the screenshots at the top surposed to look like Swanage,

afraid not lousie_t as normal the unreliable electric broken down and the B-17 is taking over until it reachs Gainsborough where the 86 can be removed:hehe:

Because Steam is King and Diesels and Electrics couldn't match up to it.

Thanks for the info Ex-railway man may have to go out and buy it when the funds become available.

I think it's about time I posted something to this thread. :)

Some of these pictures were taken a while ago (hence trackwork has since been realigned, trees replaced, telegraph poles added, etc. etc.), but I hope they'll give an idea of the flavour of the route I'm working on.

A BR standard approaches Hunwick with a southbound passenger service for Bishop Auckland. If you've been following the main UK screenshots thread you'll have seen much more recent screenshots of this area, but I still like this one.

Screen_011.jpg

A Metro-Cammell DMU waits at Hunwick with a Bishop Auckland-Durham service.

A Class 24 and a Black 5 pass just outside Coundon.

An couple of work in progress shots of the "new" Byers Green Station, which replaced the earlier station on the NER Todhills Branch when the Spennymoor-Bishop Auckland line opened.

I've not been able to find a single contemporary photo of this station, so this representation was constructed entirely from old maps; the only thing I've changed is to add the loop (which as far as I can tell wasn't there in reality) for operating convenience.

A J39 shunts a train of coal hoppers at Rough Lea Colliery.

nice screenshots durhamlass and I really like that station 2995Valliant.
here a few mor shots for the Lickey Incline.
screenshot2002.jpg

An Class 07 shuting in Bromsgrove down Sidings.
screenshot2006.jpg

A Standard 5 number 73073 heads towards the start of the Lickey Incline.
screenshot2011.jpg

Half way up the Incline we see the locos providing assistance in the form of two Jintys and a 57XX.
screenshot2014.jpg

A rare sight at Blackwell in the form of one of the LMS 7F. We also see Standard 5 73073 passing through Blackwell.
screenshot2016.jpg

An 8F pulls into Blackwell where the trains brakes will be checked before it begins desending the bank towards Bromsgrove with a freight for Bristol.
screenshot2017.jpg

In Blackwell Up Siding we see an Ivatt 2Mt with a south bound Inspection train which is waiting in the up siding because there was no room in the down siding. When given permission it will back out of the siding and run back across to the Down Line.
screenshot2018.jpg

Finally at the other end of the up siding we see a Class 02.

I don't normally get over to these parts. However I felt motivated to do so earlier this week; and so:
