UK Screenshots for Pre BR Blue. High resolution warning.

Good to see you with a diesel at the front of your train Annie, even if it was a dud! Will there be a Co-Bo on the front of your next screenshot I wonder? ;)
Only problem Paul is that there's no Class 28 Bo-Co's available for Trainz.. Edit: Yes there is, - they are called Metrovicks

Ed's Birdcage coaches are seriously nice alright.

Metrovicks at work on the S&C. These might be older models for Trainz, but there's nothing wrong with the work kemplen put into them. I will confess to having a slight soft spot for the early BR diesels.

Nice shots, those 'old' metrovicks still look pretty good like eldavos former payware locos like the class 92 and especially LMS_MAN's locos as well. I'm not sure why everyone wants to have their trainz models to look all realistic with PBR textures and have trainz looking more like either TSW or TSC, unless it's one of those trends most people try to get in on if they can.

Well I for one want Trainz to be a realistic Train Simulator so that's probably a key reason! I agree though some of the older models hold up fairly well - until brand new ones come along...

Cheers,

PLP
I came to Trainz from modelling in coarse scale 'O' Gauge with my scenic influences coming from John Ahern and other modellers from the 1940s and 1950s who paved the way to the 'railways in the landscape' methods that are used to build model railway layouts these days. So because of that I'm happy to accept a more simple approach to creating the world that my railways run through. That said though I can still very much appreciate the brilliantly realistic modelling that PLP and others here are known for.
A good many of my engines are legacy models from the TS2009 to TS12 era and perhaps even TS2004. I know they are more simple and basic than the latest offerings, only in so many ways they remind me of the kinds of 'O' gauge coarse scale engines I used to build for myself when I was still capable of doing such things. If they capture the look of the prototype I'm happy to run them.
