Cheers, evilcrow

That's very sad news Epo: your work and particularly your screenshots have always been of superb quality, technically and artistically and an inspiration to us all to raise our standards. Very best wishes with your medical problems and thanks for the enjoyment you've given.

I am most sorry to hear of your problems Dietmar, I have been inspired by your screenies over the past years, the German ones have been top notch.
The shots of yours showing the Prussian P8 in their DB garb brought back happy memories of my visit to the Horb area in 1972.
I do hope your problem can be resolved and wish you all the best in the future.

Auf wiedersehen.

Ken (evilcrow)

The marvellous Mold & Denbigh. TRS22 PE build 132316 on Steam with two of my favourite locomotives. I originally had the Mold & Denbigh installed into TANE until my Windows computer died and when I changed over to Linux I didn't reload it into TANE again for some unknown reason. I've had TRS22 PE on Steam for a while now, but hadn't done much with it. So I decided, - what the heck I'm going to see how the Mold & Denbigh works out in TRS22 PE.

Dawn comes to Lewes, Sussex Circa 1954. A local trainspotter has graciously provided these shots taken on a cool spring morning just before the turn of the decade.

Standard 4MT No.76005 pulls into Lewes Yard with an overnight parcel working from London - looking quite traveled for such a new locomotive. In the background, a soon to be famous Ex-LBSCR E4 - No.32473 - has just finished marshalling a train of coal wagons bound for station waiting room dropoffs from Cooksbridge to Hayward Heath and then to Horstead Keyes via the Ardingly Branch. Looks like the driver wasn't quite awake yet and forgotten the manifest - as the yard foreman has come strolling up with it, and a few choice words for the crew!

One more before I clam up. A BR Standard 4MT No. 80088 arrives with a Turnbridge Wells West to Brighton stopping service - calling at Groomsbridge, Crowborough, Uckfield, Lewes, and Falmer - before arriving at the terminus. Our mystery trainspotter photographer is in this one too - see if you can find him! 😉

Wow those are some great screenshots Tanker! I love how the little details add so much life to an otherwise still environment. Kudos to you or whoever built the route 🔥

Thanks Meadow! It's my route but it's grown so large that it's now a WIP Collaboration between Frank, Paul, my friend Bot.exe from Discord, myself and countless others who have made contributions to the project. Frank did the DEMs, Bot laid the track, Paul makes the stations and lineside buildings, and I do the signaling, scenery, and go out of my way to make sure it's as accurate to the real-life counterpart as possible! I couldn't have done it without any of them. ☺️

I try to set up little scenes to make the route more "lived in" to make sure it properly represents the Southern Region in the 1950s/1960s. I think it adds to the immersion of running trains along the route but that might just be in my head. 😅

@Tanker46

Lovely piccies, but i always have to drop my vpn to see yours.

Mike.

Is it still doing that Isambard? I made the move to Freehost after Paul mentioned it last time, but I have no idea how many screenshots are being properly seen by my friends in the UK.

I may have to take another look at this... 😵‍💫
