Here's some snaps for Paul (paulsw2) to enjoy. In it's rebuilt form from Paul it really is a wonderful old engine to drive.
I wanted to take a consignment of coal from the mysterious west (the western storage loops) via Bunbury and Moxbury to the yard at Bluebell Magna and 64784 handled the task without any problems at all.
The first three screenshots were taken over the fence at various spots along the western line and the last was taken at Bluebell Magana.

Dearnby & District - December 1950

BR Standard Class 4 No. 75021 races through Penbury with a rake of empty Pullman Stock for Dearnby Central. Dearnby began playing host to a select number of special Pullman Trains for Holiday Traffic at the turn of 1950s. Five years later the crews have the workings down pat as they bring the Eastern homed pullman coaches from the Southern/Eastern Carriage Interchange at Northwell down to Dearnby Central at first snowfall, and take the carriages back once the weather begins to melt in March.

Great pics Annie and Tanker. It's good to see some of my reskins this year seeing the light of day on this thread. I'll need to produce some more versions of the J39, but I'm hoping we can get the Pullmans up to the DLS in the New Year.

Testing sessions with another of Anthony's rebuilt engines. Runs as good as it looks.

On the western line again heading for Bunbury.

Anthony's 4MTs do indeed look excellent, all versions of them have found use on the S&D so far and, coupled with his especs and session rules have so far provided hours of challenging driving. The weathered versions he has produced in particular look excellent.

Moxbury looks like an interesting station with the lattice footbridge underneath the glass canopy. Very atmospheric.

Cheers,

PLP

Trust me to get the locomotive maker's name wrong. Now properly corrected to Anthony with my apologies.

Thanks PLP. Putting Moxbury station together around three years ago took me a while to do and with the surrounding station yards & etc it must've taken me a good couple of weeks to get it more or less completed.
The lattice footbridge finally got done a couple of months ago and that was a right puzzle piece to put together I can tell you. It's easy to pick that Moxbury is one of my favourite places on my imaginary 'hidden in a fold in the map' Norfolk layout.
