I hadn't actually tried driving the new Garratt yet or even had a proper look at it as we've been having a lot of thunderstorm weather so I've had my computer shut down at times.
Sounds like it would need a lot of work to get it running properly.

Looks like my vote will be staying with my older Paulz Trainz Garratt for a good while longer.

So it turns out that GresleyNg's Garratt has some potential.

After quite a bit of work to the textures and configs and new enginespecs for the three parts it now performs as I believe it should and looks like this:

That's the best-looking Garratt I've ever seen in Trainz. I think both Gresley's LMS and LNER Garratt Models could go very far indeed in the hands of a master like you!

Southern Region Circa 1956 - An Ex-SR Maunsell Q Class accelerates past Forge Farm Crossing with a down parcels to Eastbourne - possibly from Redhill or Three Bridges. The farm was situated between Eridge Station and Birchden Junction along the Cuckoo Line and saw significant enough traffic that a Crossing Keeper's Home was installed. Forge Farm Crossing is still in use to this day.

The screenshot below is courtesy of a tester who just happens to be building a route which is one of the few in the UK capable of testing a Garrett to its limit: 47995 can be seen lifting a train of 30 16ton minerals out of Radstock on the long 1 in 50 climb to Radstock. For context, a 7F was only allowed 17 wagons on this climb......

The good news is that the original author has very generously granted me permission to upload my reskin to the DLS, and edh6 has kindly given up a good chunk of his Sunday to add his script to it so it now has working couplings and headcode lamps.

I've few more things to sort out on it but it should be on the DLS by the end of the week.

Great work there Anthony. Was there a bit of tbumpenv magic involved? The loco does look a bit more reflective than in the original version.

Absolutely brilliant Anthony, and thanks too to Ed as well.. Garratts worked over Lickey, - only my old Paulz Trainz Garratts are stuck in TS12 so I can't run them in TANE or TRS19.
