Pre-Grouping Railways Nut
With the detailed quality of the layout building and the care with which this scene has been set I could be persuaded that I'm looking at a colour photo of the real thing.

Those are some really corker images Tanker. New British rolling stock for Trainz is always welcome.TTS22. Testing some of N3V and Barney's new BR Stock on an undisclosed route:
Many thanks for the link, some brilliant phots, most goodly.Lamesley station was on the ECML a few miles south of Newcastle and had separate platforms for the ECML and the Consett branch which were separated by a fence. It closed in 1945 but through the magic of Trainz it liveth on. Here we see 60534 Irish Elegance hurtling through with a Kings Cross train while an A8 waits with a Consett and Blackhill service. The station was razed during construction of the Tyne marshalling yard in 1962.

You're welcome ! I've also part built Birtley station and I just discovered that BritainFromAbove has a page of photos of the area from 1937 and 48. The thing you notice from them is that at the time the LNER was trying to tidy up the trackside so they topiary bushes laid out either side of the tracks . It must have looked great in real life. Many thanks for the link, some brilliant phots, most goodly.
Cheers, evilcrow
Thank you very much Annie! Your Hopewood Tramway is looking radiant as ever! Those are some really corker images Tanker. New British rolling stock for Trainz is always welcome.
A snap taken on the Hopewood Tramway. I've almost finished settling my Norfolk layout properly into TRS19 in Debian Linux.

An excellent choice on Barney's part. An 0-6-0 tank engine is about the most useful type of engine you can have on the roster. Nice to see the 'Knotty' getting its place in the sun at last.Speaking of new developments, Barney has allowed me to share something I think a LOT of people here will take and interest in.... A little "Knotty" surprise as it would seem...![]()
Can't wait and another pure loco to add to the NSR roster. I'm so gonna love thisThank you very much Annie! Your Hopewood Tramway is looking radiant as ever!
I wholeheartedly agree with you on that. Seeing new stock and locomotives pop up one after the other is a wonderful refresher as we continue to push forward into TRS19/22 territory! It gives me hope for the future of UK Trainz and

Thank you! I am always grateful when someone preserves part of our railroad heritage like you are doing!stood as a battered ruin until 1977 when I took a photo of it and was demolished shortly afterward.
Cheers ! This is my 1977 photo. Although this was a common pattern of NER station sadly there is nothing like it on the DLS. I think Chester-Le-Street station is the only example still in use.Thank you! I am always grateful when someone preserves part of our railroad heritage like you are doing!
I don't know if it will be next exactly, but there DEFINITELY is an NSR Tender Loco on the list - quite a few of them in fact! Can't wait and another pure loco to add to the NSR roster. I'm so gonna love this
I hope for a tender engine to be next
There may not be anything on the DLS but I would DEFINITELY think about reaching out to Paul of Paulz Trainz there Lewisner. He's done an enormous amount of UK Buildings for both Frank and myself - and for very affordable prices I might add!Cheers ! This is my 1977 photo. Now that exciting news, I would defiantly be looking out for that but at the moment this engine is enough to keep me happy for a couple of months.I don't know if it will be next exactly, but there DEFINITELY is an NSR Tender Loco on the list - quite a few of them in fact!
