Causing consternation and upset on your version of Swanage PLP. Reading the article I can see why it would be a sensible idea to move the Buffet Car to Corfe Castle, though some folk are certainly upset about it.
Nice to see your other Swanage screenshots as well. I can remember seeing BR era photos of old cast iron LSWR signage with the 'L' and the 'W' painted out so that's a nice touch.

#5377. Good to see Paul's ex-GWR Mogul at work on your layout Tailight. The GWR Moguls worked in Cornwall as well and were considered to be very useful.

I haven't been doing a lot lately as I haven't been well. TRS22 thought it would mess up the mixed gauge trackwork on my 'what-if' version of my WIP Minehead branch, but I've got that fixed now.

Talking of e-specs, how's progress with the 4MT coming along? I really would implore you to consider approaching him for a realistic e-spec as it really does make the world of difference when it comes to realism in cab mode!

Thanks Parker! My work at Amtrak has been extrodinarily demanding lately. I'm all worn out and I could certainly use a vacation!

I've already discussed the idea of a realistic espec for the 4MT with Pilotwoo. He works at the SVR so I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility. We're just waiting on that script from Zec and the whole thing will be ready for release!

I noticed your comment about the sidings near Wareham. I'm still a ways from the LSWR Region of the SR Project, but I would be honored to work on a backated BR and SR Era version pf the route should you see interest in one. It's been on my mind for quite a while actually! :D

Funny you should mention a backdated version - I've built the branch in a way that means it can relatively easily be backdated, as my original plan was to backdate it to the 1950s.

It's not something I'm contemplating on doing any time soon but it is certainly on the cards if the route is well received. If I ever get to that stage I'll be sure to give you a shout - might even be able to do it collaboratively over MP!

Sounds good to me! I'd love to find a way to incorporate a BR Era version of Swanage into the SR Route! Might have to make a few adjustments to accommodate for the massive file size though!

Just let me know anytime you want to pursue the project. I'm absolutely on board for whatever you feel up to doing Parker! :D

It's something that I wanted to try with making use of Steve Flanders Mixed Gauge kitset parts as somewhat of an experiment Tom. I chose the Minehead branch because the late 19th century trackwork at stations was reasonably uncomplicated, but even then it was still tricky to get what I've done so far laid neatly and functioning correctly. You would have to be a brave Trainz enthusiast indeed to take on somewhere like Reading during the 1880s in Mixed Gauge.
That said though I'll continue to push on with the conversion and rebuilding of the stations on the line simply because it's been such a good and interesting project for me to work on. After this who knows, - the West Cornwall Railway in 1880 perhaps.

A WCRC railtour to Swanage, running under the 'Rail Tourer' moniker. Class 47 47826 is seen hauling a short train of 5 WCR mk1s approaching Wareham and then proceeding down the line towards Swanage. Arrival at Swanage is timed for 17:40, where the dining train is waiting in platform 2. The passengers will disembark here and join the dining train for the Wessex Belle and then return to Swanage around 9:30pm.

The new WCR mk1s by N3V are brilliant - now the windows are the correct profile they look every bit the mk1. A job well done. Now for some BR(S) green ones!

The new Mk1's are certainly very nice PLP, but it would be good if they were available in other liveries.

#5398 #5399. Thanks Tailight. I hope to get back to working on my Norfolk layout again fairly soon. Nice to see a couple of screenshots from you, though it does seem to have been very quiet around here lately.

#5400. The 'Saint' class is my favourite class of GWR 4-6-0 so it was a pleasant surprise to see your screenshot Connor.

I'm still not all that well, but I managed to sort out my huge old monster of a HP Xeon computer as my main Trainz computer and fit a GTX 1650 graphics card to it. Ran a test train on my Penzance to Camborne project to prove it all works Ok.

Small Prairie No.4561 with a goods train for Helston passes Longrock MPD after leaving Ponsandane Sidings.

Oooh I do quite like the Saints as well, although the one in the picture was a Star (my personal favourite).

Here it is again, this time in British Railways lined green.

It will be released at some point soon.
