UK Screenshots for Pre BR Blue. High resolution warning.

wpsoft,

could not reply earlier as I`ve been away on holiday.

I had no idea that this feature existed - been too busy working on track & signal detail to notice the trains.

Pleased that you brought the matter up on this forum so other trainzers could remind us all.

Regards

BOGIEMAN.

Indeed this version of the A3 version is coming from TC3

@Raitracdelay: I called it Cross country. It is meant to be Southern. More or less...
@Bogieman: Which assets did you use for the signal box on post #551? 'looks very impressive.

wpsoft,

It was thrown together to create a passing resemblance to the former North Eastern Railway built bridge signal box that once stood at the North end of Ferryhill Sta. (Some referred to these as birdcage signal boxes).

As more parts become available on the download station in the future I hope to be able to construct a more accurate version. To me this is just like having Meccano again - searching for the bits & then putting it all together.

The list is as follows:-

Brewery Connecting Bridge = blue panelling beneath windows
Bruecke Traeger Klein = support for stairs
Building Markinch station P2 Shelter 1970s = interlocking room (beneath SB)
Build A Facility Overhead Door Large 1 DES = blue panelling beneath windows
Build A Facility Single door = entrance door
Build A Facility Window, Large 2 DES = as stated
Build A House Workshop-Front Porch DES = lintel above SB windows
Crossing ramp 1900 Old = point rod crank base
JJS Cantilever tower DBL Track = lower across track support
Industrial Staircase 2 = stairs
Lamp Hut = entrance porch
Merinda station shelter = roof
MTK2 RB2CH8P Red Brick 2 Chimney = brick support column
Podpora L-12m h=4m = support girders parallel to track
Signalcross = walkways on bridge structure
Signal gantry york column 1 = several of these clumped together imitate vertical point rodding
Sign12BRNE(T&G) = SB nameboard
SR/LBSCR Plate Girder Bridge Pillar = goes on top of MTK2 Chimneys to hide pots

Splines:-

Chute Wooden = point rodding run across girders
DONJ wooden platform = ground level walkway over point rodding
G Fence met blue grey = rear wall of SB
JJS Crossbuck fence = ornate effect to woodwork
Lattice girder 1.8 Grey = upper across track support

TLBlade, wpsoft,

Thankyou for your nice comments, but in screeny 573 although I`m responsible for the track & sigs, the scenery is still the original as created by the ECML team. The only other thing I did to backdate was to remove the bridge & road that stood between the pylons & the cottages.

Nice to see the SnC 'Peak' in a screenshot. Such a shame it wasn't developed further, I would have loved a BR blue version....

Now that I think about it, so would I. In an unrelated story, can I please talk to you about something in private?
