Two Upcoming South Florida Routes

Gosh...I just asked...thanks for the referece, of my trucking days!

 Is it on the Florida East Coast Railway Timetable as a station?

It is not a station. It is, however, a passing siding on FEC. There is an industry in the siding that FEC serves between NE 186th Street and NE 203rd Street.

On the FECRS website, it emphasizes that Train 965 serves industries in Dania, Hollywood, and Ojus.

My route ends near Coral Gables, FL at SW 8th Street between SW 67th Avenue and SW 72nd Avenue.

After the previoous post, I continued work and got to 36th Street, minus scenery. I was originally going to use CNR Signal bridge splines as FEC's DD which looks like a Modern Industries Railroad Crossing Cantilever on two supports.

So I went with this alternative...

Not the best, but from a train's view it does the trick. Two 3.5m gantries (cantilevers) were used, and unfortunately are not level. Look from the side and you will see like a little bit of proof that it is 2x gantry.

It still looks good, and wish there was a Modern Cantilever signal bridge out there. I need some for my KCS Vicksburg Sub.

I mean when you release these.;)

As I plan to release the route in November, sessions will come in December.

Anyway, on CSX's side of the tracks, you can wait until January for the route and February for the sessions.

All routes will be TRS2006 compatible.

The FEC will have a number of sessions.

Old Vs. New... More Old!

On Majhost.com, you can soon see a showdown of old, old route pictures with the new one today. The titles showing 'before' denote the first try.

Anyway, I'll be working further, so expect more 'new' shots soon!

Thanks! The new photos are still Work in Progress.

Though the old photos remain unrealistic for some part, the trackage can provide an idea without resorting to Live Search.

I felt like showing the old screens because, like Spiffy101 said, to prove the improvements.

As an update:

CSX Miami Sub has some 100 miles to go: 20 for the Oleander Spur to Homestead, 5 for the Downtown Spur, and 75 for the rest of the Miami Sub.

FEC's Miami to Ft. Pierce route has 95 miles to go, 65 to Ft. Pierce, 15 for the K-Branch, and 15 for all the rest.

No delays in release thus far.

Very nice improvement ! May I Recommend roads and highways from these Content Creators: Atilabarut and Vulcan. I found that Atilabarut roads can be usefully for the highway over passes and highways its self. I often combine them with the bridge piers from Vulcan and they give a very modern look.

I will look into it first thing today! (Saturday)

(after I wake up) :)

Thanks for the comment! By any chance would you like to beta test my two routes? Maybe we can meet up hopefully at the FECRS convention if I go, have to see how the year begins as of Aug 18th.

Perhaps I will switch to the Atilabarut and Vulcan standard overtime.
