Im specializing on that spur! On the main i've only modeled from the turnpike/874 junction to the gold cost museum but I have modeled all 25 plus miles of track to the Florida rock mine/plant. Ill try to get some pics for you my trs2006s is being a pain in the behind right now.
also thanks for the info on the traffic light ill start placing them on the layout.

Would anyone else like to beta test in September - October? Please, reply if you wish to do so. The component of the beta test is for the FEC route. A CSX Beta will come subsequently in December. A route preview may be announced at the FECRS convention in September, time and school depending.
Anyway, tonight I'll go up as far as Deerfield Beach. A railfan outing may come soon, with new locations and scenes. Tonight, we will get the last mile job done with Train 965, an FEC local that switches Hollywood, Ojus, and Dania.

For non CSX Miami literates:
CSX handles rock from Florida Rock and Conrad Yelvington. Lehigh Spur is the one following the 836 west past the Turnpike. Conrad Yelvington is housed by the Oleander Spur, the one bound for Homestead and Krome Avenue.

I recommend you do both spurs! They are parts of the Homestead Sub. Tonight I may show you pictures of my work on that area so far!
As a tip, CSX has been doing trackwork by 12th Street/ Perimeter Road. I've tried to feature that... An approximately 2500ft siding between Red Road and the 836 Overpass and a spur... possibly a connection to Lehigh Spur.
If you would like beta testing, I would be happy to help!

To all:
1 and a half months and I am nearly half way on my journey to Fort Pierce. This route should be set for testing during Fall 2008!
The 965 episode will be posted on the afternoon of August 13, 2008.

To all: However, I can only take so many beta testers! Thus far, I have 6 testers. I may impose a limit of 10 to 12 testers.

Sounds cool, I've always had a hidden love for the FEC trains, the bright colors and all. I'm always open to beta testing, if your not on your limit.

Train 965: the Overnight Job with A TWIST
I was out to follow FEC 965, a switcher that switches industries south of Fort Lauderdale: Hollywood, Dania, and Ojus. You will see the HUD as I watched my speed. I probably blew an hour switching industries incorrectly
It is 1:30 AM. We first get 965 passing Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport at a creep due to his first industry only a mile or two away.
965 switches 3 industries north of Stirling Road.
965 then switches industries due south of Taft Street in Hollywood. I must have because I forgot the third car! It was put in, but separated as shown.
Passing Hollywood, he tries to make up his time as he throttles up towards Ojus.
965 switches Ojus.
We ride cab on his way back then bid goodbye to the crew.

...don't obfuscate your location...name it, as the location you model, so we can merger!
