Yes, I am having the same problem! Hope, there is a fix from n3v in the future other than running another install.Hello after updating to version 129620 the draw distance for my trees is now at about 5 feet... lol Seems like it no longer processes behind the camera either. Lags and constantly precaching now. Anyone else having this problem?
Is it with all trees? Or only some?I am having the same problem!
going to MyTrainz and reinstalling the last stable retail release (129343 for Windows) might be the best solution.is a fix from n3v in the future other than running another install.
No, no specific reason and I have never had a problem until 129620. I have now installed installed 129343 as well, but it's going to be a lot of work getting everything copied over.@railroader86001 is there any specific reason why you have installed the beta version (129620) of Trainz Plus, other than to be involved in beta testing? So far only yourself and @Dyratrast have posted about this problem.
Have you put in a bug report at https://n3vgames.typeform.com/to/xRdryu. Make sure that you state that ALL trees have this problem.
Despite your statement ...

Unless you are prepared to put up with and report the bugs (and this may be one of them although my b129620 has not experienced it) and other issues, such as assertion messages and poor caching, then my best advice is to steer clear of the betas. Yes, beta versions often have interesting new features but they always come with a price (and some pain).no specific reason
lol i forgot i was on the beta version.. but if you are curious what trees they are they are the st_rmm trees by RMM. So the new updated version of coal country none of the trees are displayed very well. Seems like the camera angle decides weather or not they are going to show up or not, and view distance is very poor. Everything else seems to show up normalUnless you are prepared to put up with and report the bugs (and this may be one of them although my b129620 has not experienced it) and other issues, such as assertion messages and poor caching, then my best advice is to steer clear of the betas. It would be convenient if n3v made an uninstaller to remove the beta if needed. Yes, I know about the potential problems with beata's, but I guess I just lucked out up until now not having any issues. I should have installed the stable version a long time ago, but did not know I could have two versions installed at once.Unless you are prepared to put up with and report the bugs (and this may be one of them although my b129620 has not experienced it) and other issues, such as assertion messages and poor caching, then my best advice is to steer clear of the betas. Not just multiple versions, you can also have multiple user data folders for each version, as long as you have the storage space. For example: Trainz Plus (or any other version) can have:-did not know I could have two versions installed at once
You can find the details on the Trainz Wiki at https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/How_to_Create_a_Clean_InstallThank you for the information.
While it could be very useful for those who crave fine tuning their Trainz experience, I'm afraid it would be a disaster for the regular Trainz user. Having things in different sessions is already a big issue. Imagine the number of frantic posts from people who can't find their items and swear it was there just yesterday.multiple user data folders for each version,
To ensure I don't do that, I not only put the links in a folder, but I also edit the graphics for the Launcher and put something on it so that it's different than the regular installation. This is useful when doing betas of the same program. While it could be very useful for those who crave fine tuning their Trainz experience, I'm afraid it would be a disaster for the regular Trainz user. True. Just like those who forget to load the session along with the route.Imagine the number of frantic posts from people who can't find their items and swear it was there just yesterday.![]()
Yes, a good idea. I do this for the beta version so that I do not get confused. I have the words "Beta Stream" in big bold white lettering on the bottom right of the Launcher background graphic.also edit the graphics for the Launcher and put something on it so that it's different than the regular installation.
If you have TRS22 SP4 installed you should have received it automatically as soon as you started Trainz.where can I get the SP5?
