Asset Groups Bug Fixed!
We’re happy to announce that the "Asset Groups" bug in SP5 has been fixed with our latest hotfix update! This issue affected the placement of trackside objects on certain splines, but thanks to your reports and our investigations, we’ve resolved it.

What Was the Issue?
The bug was caused by a database repair process that could corrupt asset compatibility data.
It affected DLS and locally installed splines. Built-in and packaged DLC content were unaffected.

What’s Changed?
The hotfix ensures that affected splines and trackside assets now work correctly.
Users no longer need to apply workarounds—the issue has been resolved.

Looking Ahead
We’ve improved our testing and release processes to catch similar issues earlier.
We’ll continue refining our communication to keep the community better informed.

Forgive me for pushing this but has the load issue with well cars not being able to load more than one container also been fixed in this new update?
 
I am on TRS22 Build 129335. There are no updates showing for this SP5 HF in either the TRS22 or beta settings. I just updated from SP4 to SP. Is the hot fix already within the SP5 Update?

No, it's not within SP5. This is another download.

Do you have more than one install and this is pointing to the wrong Trainz version? I've had that occur and it's confusing.
 
Updated two computers from build 128486 to 129343. Updates took less then 10 minutes including rebuilding the data base. No problems, no errors. Everything works as expected.
 
6 hours later and I am still waiting for the rebuild to complete.

Currently at "checking for faulty assets(582177 / 727260)"
26871 (and increasing) What does this figure mean? Surely I don't have 26K+ faulty assets?

Anybody know?

Same, I gave up on it after two four hour attempts. It just hangs and does nothing.
 
Downloaded and installed in less than a minute here. DBR took about 10 minutes, maybe slightly less but all worked and no faulty assets.

I am on 128486 and tried to apply the fix. It failed with this message: Filepath already occupied:V:Trainz\TRS2022plus\CFLite.dll.
Please help.
 
Since SP5 our Swedish community have noticed that our Catenary-system ain't working anymore, it's kinda old, but it worked fine in SP4. It's working as you enter an name for the asset, and then the name says what the pylon should look like, but when you try to push the "complete"-button, the game simply crashes. I've added a support ticket for it, but might as well ask here, if there's more assets like this who relay on the name for the look of the asset that might have the same problem? It's this package, https://banbyggarna.se/stl/scenery/trackside/page1.html (STW luftledningspaket för TANE) that doesn't work anymore.
 
Post Processing and Process Objects Behind Camera are still there in the User Interface in Video Settings in Game when Clearly its been Removed already!

Have patience with the patient. This is a long slog especially if you have Plus. My DBR took 22 hours or more with the majority of the time spent on validating assets and precaching them.

Seeing the faulty assets check is normal for a DBR, or in this case, an EDBR. You probably don't have any faulty assets but check in the end anyway and view errors and warnings to revert them.
