Trainz DLC - Duchess Update!

According to the N3V news letter there is a Trainz DLC - Duchess Update! It says "To take advantage of this free upgrade simply log in to your Planet Auran or Steam account and you'll find the download link in your Order History."

Does this meen we download and install the complete pack? I could not find a update or patch file. Maybe I have jumped the gun and it is not there yet.:hehe:

I don't have the information on hand (will try to check it when I can), however I'm reasonably sure the upgrade was going to be to the entire installer.

If you don't mind waiting, then I will put a reply here when I find out.

You have to download the entire installer for the update. It would have been nice if this was announced on the forum as well and not only by newsletter.

As in my earlier post, I will be confirming this as soon as possible (please remember, it's now Sunday here in Australia).

Once confirmed, I will also put an announcement up, including instructions on how to access the update.

It's in my order history.

Go in to order history,

If you then click on the original order invoice number you will be taken to the order page which states, in my case, Duchess_Setup_1.exe, 157.62mb (the original installation prog was Duchess_Setup.exe, 113mb)

Click on this and you will be taken to the download page which states that the last update is dated September 28th 2011, download and install, I have installed in to TS12 and there is lots of extra content and it appears, so far, that all of the major issues have been fixed.

I would be interested to know if this update fixes the various problems with the Duchess, as reported on these forrms.

If it does I might just buy one!

As I stated earlier, all major issues have been fixed and it comes with added content. IMO they've done an excellent job.

For anyone who is wondering what the Duchess update contains, there's 5 extra class members in LMS livery without smoke deflectors & 2 extra Stanier coaches, a Composite Brake Third with porthole windows in BR Crimson & Cream livery & BR Blue & Grey version which lasted well into the BR era.

I don't have it on my order history because I got it else ware (Impulse), however the serial number is registered so surely I'm still entitled to the update?
 
Check the Impulse website/software.

This also applies for users of the Steam version, but it would be the Steam website/software.

Difference 50 mb

I now have a red and a green steamloc.
Three coaches, red with cream.
Three coaches, all red

Just what I had before... where is the 50 mb extra for?
