It appears from reading some of the other threads here that there are quite a few people not aware we've been running a website for the TC3 release for the last 6 months or so.

This is to say that the site has just received another update today.

www.trainzclassics.co.uk

We will be using it to support TC3 after release also.

Mike.

(Apologies for cross posting)

Mike,

Thanks for the update - I'm really pleased that you've added the vehicles - now I can have my current car added to my layout (Green Morris Minor).

I'm looking forward to the release.
Colin

Thanks for the update Mike, I see that someone has been very busy creating new vehicles, buses, a dustbin lorry and a fire engine, all worthy of special praise. Have you all been watching countless episodes of Heartbeat?? :hehe: I think I'll have to get my old record-player out of the loft and dust off my old LP collection for some music to accompany my trainz playing.....;)

What's wrong with using this site ... won't it be here ??

:D

oh, I expect it will still be here.

Two reasons why a dedicated website;

1. The forum is not a good place for storing information and a repository of downloads. There's also other things we can do if we have our own site.

2. The main Auran Trainz Classics website will move onto the next version, the UK Classics website will remain focused on UK themed Classsics versions.

Both of these reasons, and probably more as well, mean we can focus down on being a one-stop-shop for everything TC3 related.

Mike.

So do I. BTW, what are the linespeeds from Skipton to Carlisle? Because I d/l'd Bradford_1 about a month ago and I don't think you can charge along it at 100mph.

Andrew is the man to give you the details, but my impression is that it's a long steady climb to the summit at Ais Gill and then a long steady run down hill once you get there. I don't think you'll be able to set any speed records as you'll still need to watch the curves on the downhill bits.

Why do people say 'go gold', isn't that like an old title that's been made cheaper, like a platinum game. I have some games that once reduced were put in a tacky box and called gold edition or whatever. Gold is old no? From now on i demand we say silver. Shiny silver.

You're welcome.

It's neat to see the effort you all are spending on the details, such as the road traffic and the new passenger assets!

Nice work on another tireless update by you, Mike. Not that I think it was necessary after you displayed that Mk1 Cortina. ;) :p

Seriously though, I am expecting our own site to catch up to yours to some extent at least tomorrow. There have been some delays in getting our update live obviously. :o

Cheers!
