Show us your Trainz space or where the magic happens

Guys... When you quote a post with a pic, please convert the pics to links.

This is easy to do. just follow these basic instructions:-
1. Click on Quote a post.
2. The Reply to Thread box should open with the post you are replying to and it's pics.
3. In the top right hand corner of the Message pane just above the smileys are three icons. hover your cursor over the icons. You should have Spelling (and a few round here could do with it!!), size icons and Switch Editor Mode button.
4. Click on the Switch Editor Mode button (that's the one top right)
5. if you've done it right, all the pics in the post become text links.
6. Now remove all the tags from around the picture links.
7. Post your post.
8. if you've done it right, all the pics become links.

This saves a lot of bandwidth useage and sits on the right side of the law. To do otherwise without prior permission is technically bandwidth theft and is thus stealing.

regards

Harry

Rather than as the title says showing my Trainz space or where the magic happens, I'll show you both. :)

This is my Trainz, and rather a lot of other stuff, space. A general purpose IBM desktop (shared with her indoors), a Shuttle xPC that runs ElDavo's Railway Emporium, and an IBM laptop which is where I spend the majority of my time. It's used for work and for play and has traveled literally thousands of miles.

On the other hand this is where the magic happens. None of those 4x4 mud pluggers here and yes the speedo does read in mph. :D

Sky Blue: Is that a printer? I smell a advenure!

It does seem like it's a bit barren, so that's not surprising. What I did like was how Europeanbahn combined L2B and B2P in the London and South Coast, but I don't know if that did anything or not :o I've not been too happy with EB with their route detailing but the performance is good, for eye candy, Makingtracks is the way to go, Great Eastern is one of the best routes money can buy :D

The problem with B2P I noticed, was a distinct lack of research. 3 areas I am familiar with deserved more detailing. They were Chichester, Fishbourne and Portsmouth & Southsea, heres pics of all 3 of them.

Fishbourne (and Nutbourne/Southbourne/Warblington) also has platforms that are the wrong type as well and much wider than reality!

Now do you see what I mean?

Portsmouth Harbour is hugely wrong as well, the station is on a curve at one end, not dead straight!

'U of M'??
That 'M' on the wall is my varsity cross country letter. the 'M' stands for Moravia. I have no idea what you are talking about.:hehe:

Oh dear, I'm busted!

Well, if you really must know, that's a looong story I can't explain here in too much detail. ;)

Cheers,
Adam

woo DSI! yay!
i would post a picture, but i dont have a digital camera, but imagen aa really small space, with a flat wooden table, with a low spec PC next to it on the floor, and a modern monitor on the top. next to that a super hitec joystick, a packet of sweets to the left, along with my USB missile launcer, to the right a magic floating pen, the other part of my joystick, a super calculator, and lost of homework.

here's a photo or my current rig set up. I have 3ds max running on my 40in screen.:p I don't normally use that for modeling due it it's kind of hard to read text due to I'm ether sitting to far away or to close with my current room set up. I only use it for playing trainz, 18 Wheels of Steel or MS flight sim 2004.

here's a photo of my old set up (witch i still)
