Ok, heres mine, it changes regulary though...

The AMD desk. Both dual core AMD computers, the laptop has a Turion 64 and runs Vista 64 OR Ubuntu 64, not Kubuntu, like ZapperJet has been using. (I wish I did use Kubuntu, its easy to convert, so I wont moan). The desktop runs XP64 with a VPC of another server OS.
This is what is running http://81.6.245.27/

And the desktop with a non-functioning (soon will be I hope) BlackWidow 4830 SCSI scanner(!).

The laptop desk, a G4 1.67Ghz Powerbook (Mac) ontop of an Intel Pentimun-M laptop. Yes, is not a good idea, I know, the mac is usally in a cupboard, along with my Asus laptop. Notie the images (they're temp, they're there for referencing reasons.), no guessing what I am trying to (re) make. Also note the CoastLiner Xpress mousemat (Stagecoach) my Nokia E61 mobile and a selection of artwork.

And whats above the desk, my local timetables. South West Trains 320 page timetable (proper thick! Lists every SWT service!), Southern's West Coastway and Arun Valley (Sussex) timetable and a First Great Western (Provisional) timetable, from Brighton, Portsmouth, Weymouth and Exeter to Swindon, Bristol, Severn Beech(!), Cardiff, Great Malvern(!!) and Birmingham New Street(!!!). I also havea bible and a diary, even if I am NOT religious (don't ask about that one, pleas!)
Above that is a bookshelf, containing informaiton books of all sorts, railway related mainly, some binded documents, including the deaded NDA for Mac Trainz(!).
Above that, is A2 laminated TW6000 diagrams, printed and laminated at home.

Here's mine after I cleaned it up a little.

LOVE THE GUITAR
It the only Fender I own its a Telecoustic, Acoustic-Electric Guitar

When it first hit the scene, the Fender Telecaster turned the music world on its ears. Now, Fender honors the guitar that started it all with the new Telecoustic. With its Tele-style thinline body and trademark Tele headstock profile, this acoustic-electric evokes everything cool and classic.

For decades, the Telecaster has been one of the most popular of all electric guitars. Now, Fender proudly unveils the Telecaster, a gorgeous thinline acoustic-electric cut in the universally recognized Telecaster body style. Pairing its solid spruce top and state-of-the-art one-piece fiberglass body with the trademark Fender headstock design, the Telecoustic gives you all the feel and vibe of your trusty solidbody. The maple neck with rosewood fretboard bolts on just like your Tele's, and die-cast six-in-line tuners complete the package.

It's not a bad axe it you tend to lean to the blues side of life, pump this into my zoom 505 and it rather sweet, as well as the ablity to be very tight when it needs to be.

You can install Kubuntu by going to the Synaptic Package Manager in Ubuntu and downloading the KDE package.

This will put KDE (K Desktop Environment) onto your Ubuntu machine, and allows you to switch between KDE and GNOME by logging out and changing the session type.

Cheers,
John

Its not a good idea to re post photos when quoting in this thread, if you not sure what to do remove the image address from your re posts

Zapper, re read... :)

I know about Synaptic Package Manager! :)

Anyway, do you know a CPU monitor that works? As my current one for the turion doesn't and enabling the ACPI didn't work, although, SuSE did have a frequency driver when I tried it... :)

I know quoting images is never a good idea, but I see someone loves all the MSTS routes, especially the ones near me! :) Since I live on the Brighton to Portsmouth line (about half way, somewhere around the Chi area!), don't ask about what I think about the MSTS route, to be honest, it is naff, nothing like the prototype at all, especailly when I know the route virtually inside out by now.

It does seem like it's a bit barren, so that's not surprising. What I did like was how Europeanbahn combined L2B and B2P in the London and South Coast, but I don't know if that did anything or not :o I've not been too happy with EB with their route detailing but the performance is good, for eye candy, Makingtracks is the way to go, Great Eastern is one of the best routes money can buy :D
