This is where the magic happens!

My 'little' work area... Spent the day stripping off the shelves that were above the monitor, so I could add the second monitor in and make the room feel a little 'bigger'.

For what it used to look like, see this rubbish phone photo...

Oh yes... The monitors are a pair of Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 93SB 19in CRT's... Very nice monitors, for CRT's. :)

MY setup now:

The other 8 laptops are stashed away (except 2, one 20" laptop out on the desk, the other is in bits in a box, awaiting my dad to fit the GPU. :-) The Laserjet needs a new cartridge, while I find the funds for one, the output tray seves as a junk tray. :hehe:

Sometimes, I get interrupted by the dog:

That is Charlie, an Irish Red & White Setter, about 11 years old and still going strong, he is that strong, he will literally lift you off your seat and carry you out of the room!

My setup is actually 3 setups:

one is a leather sofa ( sorry any vegitarians) with a silver dell inspiron with trainz 06 on it and wireless internet.

two is a desk in my room with a very old (ex work) computer with trainz sp3 and UTC on it

three is a desk with a new HP pavillion on it with widescreen monitor, wireless printer, mouse and keyboard.

despite having three setups, not one of them is tidy!!!:D

meyshollop, don't worry, mine gets worse by the day. Like having a desktop given to me by my grandmother, she didn't like it and was planning (like everything in my family) to take it down the dump, even if it is only about 2 years old and still working.

(Sempron 2800+, 512mb RAM, VIA based motherboard with 2 SATA ports and VIA chrome 9 I think, 15" screen, upgraded with a different wireless card and ATI Radeon 9550 graphics, hardly used.). I've upgraded it with an internal card reader, I might get some ram and use the spare 250GB hard drive in it, then get a smaller case for my main desktop, which has a Mini ITX board in it.

The P4 desktop is behind me still and hasn't got a webpage on it yet.

Meanwhile .....back at the Batcave

Amazing since starting this thread I have moved house and have a new trainz space.........

AC-DC were a far better 25 years ago when the were just another rock band on the Aussie pub circuit - I know I was there

That could have been me now out there now filling the stadums, apart form one thing..........................talent.

I see someone is a Pink Floyd fan:hehe: There is a band: "Austrailian Pink Floyd" and they put on exceptional concerts, and spectaular light shows.

Not exactly a love nest but a much needed redecoration. I moved into the house during 6th grade and the decorations remained until just a couple months ago. There were old toys and legos scattered about, old school things, my closet was a mess... so I figured it was about time I made the place look nice. As for the bikini poster, it ain't that revealing, I found it at Wal Mart tucked away with the kid's posters, if anything the Pink Floyd one above it is more revealing. The band posters are deffinetly what make up the better part of the room. I was fortunate enough to be taken to see in AC/DC in New Jersey about a month ago, and even though I'm a true Bon Scott fan, they do a good show and stuck with playing 90% of the classics. My parents bought me tickets for my 18th to see Australian Pink Floyd in Hartford in October and I'm very excited. The closest thing I've come to hearing live Pink Floyd was listening to the Live 8 reunion concert on the radio a few years back and I keep hearing Aussie Floyd does an excellent show. I would have liked to see Rush but I missed Snakes & Arrows by a year, so I have to stick with the concert DVD until they tour again. I've actually filled out passport papers cuz if I'm gonna see Rush, I'm gonna do it right and see them in Toronto. Now if only Zeppelin decides to do a tour, that would be wicked. I hear John Bonham's son is a hell of a drummer.
