Thanks for the feedback, guys!
Doing a little more jumping around here, I decided to return to my own side of the state line and do some work on South Haven, Kansas, located roughly two and a half miles north of the Oklahoma state line, in Sumner County. My grandma grew up close to here. Her family had a farm between here and Caldwell, KS off US-81 highway. I visited this area driving her and my great aunt around just last week, but since I was on an unrelated mission, I passed on doing much BNG research in this area.
The MRL engine here isn't really too far off. The real BNG currently has an EWLX six-axle (the exact model escapes me at the moment) of MRL descent, still decked out in blue. There's also a pretty sweet EWLX SD18 that roams the BNG still in full Chessie System dress that I've seen a couple times. Might be a future reskin project...
The BNG crosses US-81/Main Street on the north end of South Haven, just north of the US-166 junction. US-81 turns and heads east out of town and crosses the BNG again as Stuart Street, and Main Street continues south as US-177, which the BNG will follow almost all the way to Blackwell, Oklahoma. None of that is seen here though, because that part of town is still pretty bare...
I'm not done building this town up - not even close - but I am for tonight.
