Show Off Your Routes *Potential For Large Screenshots*

Going back in time a bit to an industrial switching model railroad I threw together some years ago. It looks a bit aged in TRS22, but still fun to waste some time on.

Picking up cars all around the Central City industrial district and filling up the yard with pieces of our outbound train.

I like the city scenery Matt! Looks like a great little model! only nitpick I would have is that the word is "Baptist", not "Babtist", but then the stem of the letter "p" is going to be obscured by the cross. Trivial.

Thanks! If I didn't already have multiple ongoing projects, I'd consider bringing this module up to current TRS22 standards, or maybe even reworking it into part of a full size route.

I didn't make the sign, I just put it there. But to be fair, I didn't catch that until you said something. Good eye.

@EPA - those are some good model train screenshots :)
My only nitpick is the grass in the last screenshot where its not on the table top but rather floating in the mid air otherwise I have none.

@JimDep - amazing screenshots from you as well!
Can't help it but seeing the farm in post #3164 reminds of the farms I see in the midwest when I'm in the hilly side of things. Overall amazing!

Cheers

After 2 days of not working on the route (Wednesday I took a break and Thursday was a busy day) I finally present todays work since 6am:

Thank you.........I enjoy your screenshots and others too. I can appreciate all the hours / days/ weeks / months that it takes . I love those farms in rural areas and especially the old established ones that have been around for a century or more. This Creekside Farm shows up on maps from the 1800's, along with the tracks and both are still there and operating.

@Blueodessey - tax season always does that to my poor [young] brain as well but that's why we have Trainz so our brains can feel better:p
Glad to hear you are enjoying the pictures I post of the progress, more to come overtime.

As for the route progress, I can tell you the route is only like 47.6 - 47% done so plenty of time to save up ;)

@JimDep - Thank you, and you are more than welcome. The old established farms are very interesting as they have a story behind them that can like tell the history (this is when you wish the walls could talk). Nice to hear that they still have one from the 1800's still in operationas most don't survive that long.

Cheers

@ hiawathamr,

Route is looking Supremo, my Brain is telling me it looks like Xmas, Beautiful Snow all around, and maybe I can go outside in the Chilly Sunny Air and play, ride a Bicycle, Roller Skate (OK don't laugh, when I was Knee High to a Tadpole I had the shoes and the Wind Up Key that had to be used to keep Safety Clips holding them onto to your Shoes) couldn't do that now, I might Bust a Leg or worse......:hehe:

Ques for you Sir......How many miles, Guesstimate of Course, will this Route Cover......Curious me.....:)

Update1900Hrs: Thank for the update on Route Miles, I think 85 miles will work OK on my Travel Laptop Lenovo S540.......:p

Thank you Blue :)

I can tell you the way how its being made it can be seasonal and with just a few layer changes it can have Christmas things on it :D
For real hot summer days you want the cold winters but when window comes you want the summer heat. I'll prefer the hot summer heat with virtual winters as I'm not a winter person unlike how I was when I was a kid lol.

Route wise its about 85-ish miles. Much much smaller than my previous route where that was like over 400 miles!

Cheers
