The snow piles you see are spline items made by Dinorius_Redundicus which are on the DLS and both have end caps so all I do is stop placing the splines.
I needed something to cover up the non-seasonal items and they do the job:hehe:

Yeah havent seen any really good traffic gantry poles to hold traffic lights on.

What splines are you using for the grass/concrete medians? They look really good.

@Hert - they're pavement grass which can be found on the DLS by typing in 'pavement grass'. Concrete I'm using the NBS+ sidewalks which are also on the DLS.

Yes those items do add a nice effect (it also helps to make non-seasonal items seasonal ). Many thanks to Dinorius_Redundicus for creating them or else I would probably have to scrap the seasonal ideas!

You've really got me interested in your latest creation. I've been watching your progress on this route and you are really capturing the area very well. As a resident of Park Ridge, IL I have taken the line more than I can count to work in the Loop and back home for the last 30 years. On a few occasions I have also ridden the same train further west to visit friends. Looking forward to the release of this route.

Originally this route was only supposed to have been inspired by the Metra line but is slowly turning into the real thing. The only place that isn't fully prototype is Harvard... Might keep it that way since it could be a 50 years into the future
I've been on the entire line so any times from Havard to Chicago and back that I lost count on it lol. The cab ride video I took back in 2017 also helped as I could simply replay the video and get more of the area (such as the signal types) as well as other things that I can't get off of Google maps due to lack of roads. The fun of building prototype routes

I just use two of them back to back to make it look like double parking.

EDIT: That appears to be the structures with the grass. In preview it does not show the pavement or the white lines. Is that part of it? I am looking for the double white lines between each car.

I don't know why it came out so dark when putting on the Trainz gallery. It's lighter when I've got T:ANE up on the PC.
Maybe it's my monitor settings.
