saving a route on 2006

I would like to save one of my routes onto disc to dispel any crashes etc that may occur. On 2004 it was easy to locate any folder by searching "world" and finding the maps folder,however on 2006 you are presented with a jumble of unidentifiable script,no kuids or headings,am i missing something or is it impossible to find what your looking for??

Use cmp and locate your route, r/click and convert to cdp, send to desktop. I think then you could save it to disc.
